Quick question. What do you do with your old porn that you no longer want?

I have about 100 "daddy" and "bear/cub" porn magazines, about 25 porn VCR video tapes, and about 100 porn DVDs in mint condition that I collected over the years from about the year 1987 to about 2007. Now I am ready to downsize and get rid of all of it.

I would like to try my luck to sell it online in my spare time, as I am not in a hurry to sell it all per se, since the "daddy" and "bear/cub" genera of gay porn is a somewhat niche interest. However I don’t know where is the best place nowadays to sell pre-loved gay porn online. Any ideas?

Since a tremendous amount of gay porn is readily available online for free, I’m not sure if it would be worth my time and effort trying to sell it in today's climate, so I also am wondering should I just throw it all away and be done with it?

I'd be willing to take it off your hands as long as you paid for post and package.

Perhaps you could take it to some gay charity, community centre see if they want it for any sales they're having.

It's a shame none of it can go into the recycling.

VCR cassettes were horrible quality and deteriorated with time and use. I can't think of anyone I know who has a machine for them.

The magazines must be terribly faded, and were never top quality print. I believe they would be too ink-glazed to recycle.

Have you tried contacting any sex stores to see if they want them? They might be able to resale them or use them in the video booths?

Our Salvation Army you get a cart and fill it up with junk and leave it in the lobby perhapes giving them to the Salvation army lol

I have the same problem! Got hundreds of dvd porn that I no longer need or want and don't quite know what to do. I already threw away all the VHS tapes but still have all the discs and in excellent condition. What to do?

I discarded my VHS tapes long ago.

I still occasionally look at my DVDs. (most of them were acquired post-Dave, meaning after 2007)

I still have my collection of magazines. I used to buy trade-ins at one bookstore, so I have some that date back to the late 1960s.

Maybe I should start to scan them and post them here at JUB if there is any interest in seeing porn where guys were real.

They had facial pimples, hair in their ass cracks, and were harder than a rock!

They looked normal, not like porn stars!

First, don't burn it. Plastics emit toxic outgases that are pollution. If you dispose, simply put in the garbage and they will be buried in a landfill and will take generations to decay, just like every other piece of hard plastic tossed.

I thought I remembered eBay using a back door system (no pun intended) to sell porn. I was right.

To even find or use the Adult-Themed section, you must go through an additional log in or screen promising to be of age, etc.

Once you find the section, you cannot even see thumbnails of the listings (outside opening the individual listing) until you go through the verification screen.

However, once you do and in order to give you an idea of what has been selling and for how much, or even from where, you can filter your search on orientation, studio, media type, and even Items Sold to see all of it.

I would recommend selling your material by lots since you don't seem to be interested in income per se, so you will sell them quicker with less fuss. VHS will be a little different since there may be less interest in buying them by lot due to the weight, but who knows? You may find a market since your genre may be harder to find and appear to a rural collector who has no access.

Before selling any VHS, you will want to confirm it still is viewable. Many degrade and won't have a viewable image and you don't want to tangle with returns or disgruntled buyers.

I'm an experienced eBay buyer but have sold a few items over the years, not porn though. But, if you need any help, feel free to post questions or just PM me and I can walk you through any of it.

Not sure if Amazon has the same thing.

I went digital with my porn, I have 500GB of it on my hard drive. As for physical porn you could donate it to gay porn shops maybe, I am sure they would be willing to take it off your hands. The porn shops here rent gay porn and no doubt they could use a little bear and daddy porn since there only seems to be a market for twink porn.
