Every morning, Grande Pike Place and maybe a bacon gouda artisan.
Afternoon is usually a short or tall pike depending on how late in the day it is.
I use my reward coupons (or when im warm like today, it was freakin 87 and it's then end of October!) for orange mango banana vivanos. mmm. and i just realized i forgot about their black tea without sugar. freakin delicious and satisfying.
ooo, they had this espresso chocolate truffle last year during the holidays. it was so good!
My apartment is like within 3 miles of 7 Starbucks here in Austin (not including target and randalls locations). But, I was in heaven in Manhattan in august. literally a Starbucks every other block.
As far as pretentious, id have to disagree. the independent ones here in austin are where all the pretentious/scene/etc are at. starbucks has pretty much turned into every man's coffee stop. i used to try to support the local ones but i freakin cant stand going into most of them anymore.

Haha yeah. It's basically a cold blended coffee drink with chocolate bits and whip and I ask for it to be blended twice because otherwise you get bigger chunks of chocolate and ice which clogs the straw and I want it stronger hence the extra shot.

Me too. At home (in Seattle) I usually favor smaller independent roasters or coffee houses. But when I travel to other cities not so caffeine-inundated I always scout out the nearest Starbucks. It's my coffee safety net.
