  • Hi Guest - Did you know?
Hot Topics is a Safe for Work (SFW) forum.

What do you see at first glance..?

that is what the pic shows - yes, but what was your first impression..?
younger people tend to see the young woman first - older folks the old one.

It's peculiar, though, that when the image appears on my phone screen from top down, I immediately see the young lady, and when it appears from the bottom up I immediately see the old lady.

I would assume that during any sort of test, the image/print would be stationary.

Try scrolling the image into view from different directions. Maybe it's just me.

At first I saw the older woman then after I saw the younger lady looking the opposite way

This is all I see for all the images on JUB:

I saw the young woman first (and I'm 74 years old)...then the old woman within the next second or two.

In the first image I saw the man's face better at first, but then saw the woman better, within two seconds.

I saw the man walking out of the tunnel, then into the tunnel, within a split second of each other.

Illusions that identify your true character - what do you see at first glance - which ball is bigger..?

The ball furthest looks bigger. But they are obviously the same size.

Actually, if you measure it, the lower ball is slightly bigger. The upper ball looks bigger to us because the presumed parallel lines approach a vanishing point, causing us to reason from our perception that the upper ball is farther away, and thus much larger. In the real world that conclusion would usually be correct, that the object further down a bricked-in alley would be larger. Exercises like this deliberately design the cues in such a way to fool you.

Can someone explain to me how the man is behind the woman if her hand is on his back?

/\ Her hand, and their bodies remain in the same position, it's only the positions of their heads/faces that are interchangeable to the eye- his head on one side or the other of her's.
