I'm watching this right now and I'm feeling like an old man, I don't know about anything of what is fashion right now and I don't watch TV(I'm always working at home)! Sometimes people mocking me. Am I really so weird? #-o
By the way it seems a really cool tv drama! Plus we are in Halloween mood!:clown:

Edit: I was thinking about this and "hey daddies I love you but, weeel eeehm, this is an haunted house...weeeeeeeeell, can we run away asap? yeah i mean i don't want ruin but yes...I wanna survive! Pleeeeaaaaseeee!" :waaaah:

American Horror Story can be hit or miss, but at the end of the day the show shouldn't be taken seriously and just taken to be entertaining, kind of campy, over the top and just trying to have fun. This latest season in my opinion, has so far been the worst the show has ever been.

oh well I don't feel the necessiety of updating me on the new releases in the cinema...I saw one five years ago and, well, sucked, so I still prefer watch The Hills Have Eyes(1977) and similars. But that's pretty good for relax.

It's usually dumb as hell but it's always over the top and filled with gay characters and themes so it's a guilty pleasure for me.

I thought Red Tide was pretty good. It was dark, cohesive (for once), Evan Peters and Frances Conroy had great roles, and I loved the ending, which was an excellent joke that apparently went over everybody's head.

The only must-see season is season 2, "Asylum". Jessica Lange kills it as a psychotically religious nun who runs an insane asylum. It has a serial killer, a mad doctor, a deranged scientist, demonic possession, a musical number, aliens, and Anne Frank.

Not to be confused with "American Horror Stories", which is pretty bad.

I liked the one season most people hated, 1984, because of the campiness of it.

I was really looking forward to that one because in 1984 I was going to see every slasher movie that opened.

But it was campy. Too campy for me. Nice half-shirts on the guys, though.

I've enjoyed each season....some more than others. Favorite seasons: Murder House, Hotel, Asylum and Freak Show. For the most recent season, I liked Red Tide but not the finale. I liked Death Valley and the finale (although it was rushed).

Mostly it's a chore to watch but i did love the Coven season.

Mainly because of the Stevie Nicks music.

I've watched this series and they get really into it with all the gory stuff

Freak Show was fun, some good cover songs, plus Chiklis in wrestling tights is always nice.
Coven is where they hit their stride and became a recurring theme, returning in Apocalypse.

Roanoke at least had a twist to it, which shows they aren't afraid of experimenting.
Then again, Stories seemed like they wanted to update a few older seasons, but missed whatever mark they were trying to hit.
Death Valley seems to bookend the dropped alien story from Asylum and lean back into the phobia/conspiracy "Election" season, which many thought was too soon.

It's pure camp and good for a few laughs, but I'm surprised it's survived this long. Hasn't Falchuk decided to "call it quits" a couple times already?

I loved Coven and Hotel and The freakshow one was fun. I didn't care for asylum the whole mental hospital aspect freaked me out and made me panicky and claustrophobic! Roanoake was boring! Election I couldn't even get through it was Sooooooooo boring and SLOW!

I just ended Coven and I like it!

My favorite was Freak Show. I liked most of hem until the Hotel one and then I stopped watching. I tried the new one but just couldn't get into it.

Hotel is my favorite... Hypodermic Sally and Liz Tailor and Lady Gaga... wonderful...

Apocalypse was funny for the first few episodes.

Coven was good.

I totally love the first five seasons. Coven is by far my favorite. It got crazier and messier after that.

My rankings:
1 - Asylum
2 - Murder House
3 - Hotel
4 - Freak Show
5 - Apocalypse
6 - Coven
7 - 1984
8 - Roanake

Did not watch Double Feature and did not finish Cult because I felt like that was just Sarah Paulson screaming the whole time. Asylum was by far the best season. Jessica Lange was great, but Lily Rabe was the MVP for me.

I didn't like Coven much as I thought the use of their powers were pretty underwhelming. I also thought they hyped up the test of the seven wonders, but that was also underwhelming. Congrats, you lit a candle. Congrats, you moved a piano. Congrats, you can play tag. I thought there would be a better visual display and more intense use of their powers. Apocalypse intensified it a little bit, so that's why I ranked it higher than Coven.

No strong opinions on the other seasons besides Murder House.
