  • Hi Guest - Did you know?
Hot Topics is a Safe for Work (SFW) forum.

What do you use for a piggy bank?

Hmm, I do not like the term "piggy bank"

I prefer "ceramic porkhollow"

But yes, I just use a ceramic porkhollow.

I have a coin sorter and then I store the full rolls in a drawer below.

I used one similar to the one Cotton showed. I also used this really cool toilet bank that was probably the coolest fucking toy/piggy bank ever. You'd put the coin in, flush, and it'd go down to the base. It even made a realistic flushing noise, which made it 10x cooler.

I want this one:

That one would take forever if you had a lot of change.

we use a nice dish in our closet, we throw all of our change in it at the end of the day. Then, we transfer that to a big jar that we take to the bank every now and again. We deposit the money in a go on vacation fund....

I made a wood box in woodshop in middle school that has my name carved into it. That's where I put my change in..filled it up over 3 years worth time and got over $100 bucks out of it! Haha blew it the next week though.

I use a one gallon wine bottle. It has a beaded net on it to dress it up a bit. It actually inspired me to make more. I'll upload a pic when I'm at my comp and not posting from my phone.

I just use a "Wonderful pistachios" plastic container...not much in it right now since I got rid of a lot of the smaller coins.

A cigarette box and a yellow ? brick from the Mario Bros series.

It's a desk caddy that's supposed to have areas for pens and glasses and whatever else. Instead, we just throw our change in it. When it's full, we take it to the CoinStar and get iTunes or Amazon gift cards.
