  • Hi Guest - Did you know?
Hot Topics is a Safe for Work (SFW) forum.

What does your VOICE sound like? Accent, sexy, annyoing?

When I worked at the airport, people always asked me "Are you from here?" referring to Dallas, TX.
I'd say "yes, born and raised". And they would be shocked and say I don't sound Texan.

I don't know what I sound like... just a normal guy I guess...?

When I'm out-n-about by my self, I talk in a low-quiet-sultry voice.
I don't know why, just do. =P

I have a rather posh english accent and I was told last night that I'm rather nasally.

Great.

I have a rather feminine voice I guess? On the phone I often get mistaken for my mother...I guess we sound the same?

Often time too, at night when I'm slightly tired and on the local chatline bored, I will get guys sending me messages saying that despite knowing I'm a guy, my voice got them turned on and hard...and that it is sexy and that I should be a phonesex operator lol.

Biggest compliment I ever got about my voice was that I reminded the guy of TRIP TUCKER, the uber sexy engineer on Star Trek:Enterprise :D

I kinda sound like the director Ridley Scott, cos we're both from the same area of the North East of the UK... so that's cool :-))

Mine's got a somewhat strong southern accent attached to it, not real deep, but not whiny at all. I cringe when I hear myself though..ugh

It's quite long, really thick, with a big fat mushroom head. *|*

Wha ... huh? What's that? Voice, you say?

Oh ... nevermind. :help:

Can't say I agree - but I've been told more than once - that on a good day I sound just like GARIELD !!

My voice is nasally, deep, yet also feminine. I think I sound a bit younger than I am. I also have an upstate NY accent so I pronounce coffee more like cawfee and sometimes say elemenTARY instead of elementary. I don't love it, but it is what it is.

Regularly it's low-pitched, but as I talk, it rhythmically modulates following the intonation. Pretty much like singing a sentence.

And somehow, I have a very strong nasal voice.

nasal and annoying as fuck.

and with the way my mother taught me to enunciate, i sound like a condescending pompus asshole.

I have a mass accent... I tend to skip all "r"s and add a few where they shouldn't be. I guess I need ot dig out the headset with a mike and make a recording...lol

I have a deep voice with a very subtle midwest accent. I've been told I would be good for voice overs and have a broadcasters voice. A girl in my class even told me I had a "sexy voice."!oops!

Use to hate the sound of my voice but when I had to record a phone message for work I played it back thinking it would sound terrible and it sounded... nice and smooth. I guess I do have a nice voice after all.

We are our own worst critics.
