I’ve recorded a poem (not written by me) in my natural accent. It was written shortly after the death of Margaret Thatcher and references her and the Hillsborough disaster, which occurred on the 15th April 1989 in which 96 men, women and children lost their lives and the subsequent cover-up by the police and questions Thatcher’s involvement in that cover-up.

If anyone has any admiration or great love for the late Iron Lady, I suggest you do not listen.

Your voice is as hot as you look.

DAMNIT I wish I were your type. XD

Thanks! As I remember, you're pretty hot too. If I wasn't dating someone and you were closer, I'd definitely be interested in seeing where things went.

Saybrooke, I remember that vid when you first posted it because I listened to it about 10 times! Whatever you were singing I had the tune stuck in my head for hours! You're extremely cute and very talented!

All true, and that it took over 20 years to expose a police cover-up is nothing short of disgraceful. Also can't believe that some football exec wanted there to be a minutes silence for Thatcher at the grounds and a 'football tribute' - ridiculous! I can't believe how out of touch some people have been this past week by trying to pretend she's some sort of national heroine. They're delusional.

excuse the rambling. i tend to do that when I'm talking about something I'm excited about.

I have a long-standing geeky interest in skyscrapers too! But mine was more a 'statistical' obsession - their heights, locations, what they were used for (office, residential, hotel) and listings for tallest in city, region, etc.

Despite that I do have favourites - mostly those with flat roofs. Some of what I call 'cop-out' skyscrapers don't appeal. They add structures to boost their overall height when their roof height is nothing like the height listed. Worst case in the book for this is the Burj-al-Arab hotel in Dubai - it may be a nice exotic-looking 'sail' building but it's claiming to be nearly 50% taller that its highest floor is. [-X

VERY geeky and nerdy interest of mine. :o

EDIT:

P.S. I'm afraid the mic on my headphones has failed. #-o

Tried it last week and many times since but all I hear is silence. You'll have to do without Scottish for a while.

Very interesting what you had to say about my accent! I understand what you meant though. Believe me though, I think mine is quite a mild accent, some people here have an even stronger one and if they are fast talkers they can be almost unintelligible!

Absolutely agree with everything you've said here. We've always known about the cover-up but have largely been viewed as deluded and self-pitying. The report revealing the real truth has opened the eyes of so many who previously refused to believe. As for those inside football who wanted to honour Thatcher, yes, that was indeed ridiculous. So many people seemed to have forgotten her hatred of the sport and the ordinary people who love and follow it.

That's a really lame excuse :##: [-X Get it fixed!

Uuummm....(j/k)

Ugh, this last week was way too crazy to be posting regularly. Missed quite a bit.

Refox,
I love your natural accent. It is very thick and pronounced. But then I do love that British accent. And that story about the accident and the cover up...wtf! That is crazy. But thank you for sharing it with us and enlightening the board with everything you've posted honoring their memory, it's what added to my somber, reflective frame of mind this past week (not a bad thing).

To huntneo,
ok, I just have to smile. I love architecture! I also love skylines and admiring various types of architectural styles. OK, so I just deleted about a paragraph of me rambling on about that...But I have tons of stories of me as a kid always fascinated by constructing tall buildings and just the construction process in general. Building sandcastles, miniature model towns etc. It's crazy... Between you, Lefty and Redfox, I'm getting a little spooked with the similar minds aspect.

Thank you (*8*) I was hesitant about posting the poem, although my original intention was to include it in the tributes in my thread, but decided against it. I think that was simply for the reason that I didn't want to overdo it. I also had other things I could have posted. Then the other day I thought, why not? I think what convinced me to go ahead was hearing on Thursday that one of the mothers of the 96 had passed away that morning and the poem seemed like a fitting tribute to her, having finally seen the truth revealed for the whole world to see and also to see the witch in the ground. I'm glad it has been well-received, so far anyway. I can think of one or two people who wouldn't approve but then they aren't likely to want to hear my voice anyway.

Great to hear (and see) you again, MissAnne (*8*) Thank you for mentioning Lefty. I don't know whether or not you and he would have got along - you would've had to have been able to understand him in the first instance to stand any chance of that! - but you are right, he was a big influence on the board and is greatly missed.

So, what is your voice like?

I was thinking how hot it would be to hear some of your voices! Anyone up for recording a little "custom" JUB message and posting it here? I get quite turned on by hearing a voice to go along with all of the self pics going around!!!

"Have you ridden a booooooy lately?"

Re: So, what is your voice like?

How do you sound? Like a queen? diva? flamer? straight? jockish? fat? skinny? tall? accent? No matter how we appear physically, the subtle nuances in our voices can either deliver a perfect representation of who we are, or betray us completely by sounding vastly different than what we are truly like, physically.

Does anyone else get turned on by a vocal top/bottom? I LOVE to hear more than just the occasional moan - I get fucking hard as a r0ck when I hear some dirty talk! "You like that big dick don't you? Yeah you do! You know you like my hairy, thick cock sliding up your ass!" "You fucker - stick your rod in like you mean it! Drill me!! Give me your fucking dick!"

Ok, I'm turning myself on... hahaha

Re: So, what is your voice like?

I'll try to record my voice sometime, but we shall see if JUB will accept the file when I do go to upload it. :-D ;-D

Re: So, what is your voice like?
