I can sense your frustration with the "light dusting of snow" forecast. That has been done to us several times and it is not fun. Sometimes they will put us all in a panic and everyone will clean out home depot and the supermarket expecting to be snowed in for weeks and then we will get nothing. Or we will get the "light dusting" forecast and get snowed in.

I was thinking of you when I saw the news reports about the South getting hit with this unusual weather :(.

I totally agree with you --- people who say "they don't understand why people need to say it" are just using code for "gay people shouldn't talk about it, and talking about it at all is pushing it in our faces." And yes-- I think heterosexual white people often like to fancy themselves as so put upon by life in general that they dislike the (valid) reminder that they don't even have to worry about things like race, sexual orientation, or having their life and the way people treat them would be more difficult for someone else.

I have posted my voice on here several times. :-D Granted, it's not related to what you two have been talking about.......o.k. for the most part it was me basically saying hi! :-D ;-D O.k. I return you to your regularly scheduled chat room! Oh and HI!! lol! I love my straight friends but sometimes even my most open minded straight friends make some ignorant comments like the one's you mentioned - like why does it always have to be about gay person this that etc. I am like OMG are you kidding me! You are effing straight please! You don't know how hard it is for some gay people to even have a gay friend or talk to a gay person. :mad:
Call me hetero-phobic but honestly some straight people have the size of a pea for their brain :grrr:
