I got my tongue pierced today. The piercing didn't hurt at all. But the after effects are miserable. The bar is longer than it should be to make up for possible swelling, so it hits the roof of your mouth, and it's hard to swallow water and I had a hard time eating a 6oz. yogurt for dinner.
