The title pretty much sums it up :D If any, which gay stereotypes do you match.

Mine
- I like pop music
- I care about my looks
- I'm relatively sensitive
- I love Britney haha doesn't get much gayer than that
- I watch trashy reality shows and American shows like Desperate Housewives

You guys?

Ummmm well lets see, the stereotypes I match:

I'm bitchy if you piss me off
I love bubble-gum pop
I like Will & Grace
And in my youth I was an absolute slut who did alot of sleeping around with people who didn't really matter.

Well I'm going to refrain from pissing you off

Are you no longer such a slut??

& yeah, my gay experiences haven't been with anyone who I really care about.

Pretty much the same as you but everyone cares about their looks so that one doesn't count. I also think the majority of people like at least some sort of pop music whether they're gay or straight but that also depends on what you call pop music.

^ True, I guess I don't fit the stereotype as much. As in, I don't wear make-up, fake tan, say "fierce" or "fabulous" etc.

I think my most stero-typical gay tendency is my love of Britney haha

I have no problem showing emotion if I am feeling it.
I like being treated like a "woman" in bed.
When I dress up I look like I know what I am doing.

Thats all I can think of.

88NUTZ, not everyone cares about their apperance. I dress for comfort. I can't remember the last time I owned anything trendy, or had a hair style other than short. I've never had a mani or a pedi and I don't wax or anything. I just shower, shave and get dressed in whatever is clean.

You don't have to groom yourself and do all those things to care about your appearance. I don't do those things either. Most people do care about their appearance because they want to attract other people except old married people who already have someone. It's not a gay or straight thing was all I was saying.

I'm not one who usually fits any kind of stereotype, however, I do seem to have a few gay stereotypical characteristics.

For example:
- I love cheesy pop (that's the music, not a new flavour of soft drink lol)
- Cher and Céline Dion are idols of mine
- I pluck my eyebrows
- I like to accessorise
- I like sparkly things
- I'm always eyeing up cute guys in the street

After having thought about it, it seems I am a bit of a gay stereotype - oh well, never mind! :gogirl:

Mine

- I love facial hair
- I'm hedonistic
- I love to argue and make trouble
- I'm highly polyandrous
- I have outlandish tastes and I'm not Japanese
- I love porn
- I like beating heteros and religious folk at their own game of constructing reality. (I haven't quite managed that with politics and the economy, but I'm making progress).
- I will spend the entire rest of my life dishing out to others that which they were foolish enough to visit om me, just to see if they can take it, and watch with glee how bullies ruin their own lives.
- I'm highly critical of moral ideas, which are either based on wishful thinking, or worse a ploy to remove others of something the have without having to feel remorse.
- I adore drama, especially the kind that comes to people for being stupid.

IMO you're just you, and it doesn't necessarily make you a gay role model either.

I, for instance, can cook, clean, and do laundry, as well as many Martha Stewart (pre-FTC) things. I like to care for my man, and I'm quite elite for my age, IMHO.

Personally I normally hang out in a local car forum. I've had to come out to the board cause I was saying "my ex boyfriend", which led the sex-depraved car boys to go "omg a gurl? hi2u".

I'm not straight acting, I cross my legs and I can shed tears in public. I have limp wrists and effeminate expressions. However, I do not associate with the "gay community" firstly because I believe to be part of a global community, secondly because when I say "I'm homosexual", people see a skater and the background slowly fades to rainbow flags, naked men dancing in leather harnesses, snorting coke off each other's asses. Which is not the case.

I have to say the stereotypically gay thing that I do, is to have sex with other males.

Who considers you "gay" is different. Like I listen to techno, so I could be gay for someone who listens to hip-hop. Or, I like the handling of German cars, so I could be gay for an american muscle enthusiast. I like skateboarding, and playing basketball. So I could also be gay for someone who likes to play football.

Personally I think people who drive Mazdas, play Soccer, and listen to J-Pop are really fucking queer.

^ I'm just trying to provide constructive input...

I'm a man of science... somewhat of a renaissance homosexual.

Plus I'm also new here... so Hi! :D

^ great response hoodedrat :)

but gym-bunny bodies unattractive ?!? haha

thats so gay....

ye, i fit into the gym obsessed gay guy that uses his looks to hide the fact hes an empty shell of a man inside...

 ye right

no all jokes aside i can be a major bottom at times ;)

Don't kid yourself, I saw the lyrics in your sig. You love her too :D haha

& I couldn't help but notice that you were [STRIKE]slightly[/STRIKE] gym obsessed.

I do not fit into any gay stereotypes.

I shave my head once a month, not because it looks good, because it doesn't, but because it's low maintenance, and since I do it myself it's cheap.

I don't care about clothes. At home you will find me in a t-shirt and shorts. In public you will always see me in a black polo. I say always because if you look at the 25 polos I have hanging in the closet you'll see 24 of them are black.

My "personal care" items include a bottle of body wash in the shower, a toothbrush and toothpaste in the drawer, a stick of deordorant in the cabinet and an electric shaver under the sink.

I like guns and heavy-metal music, but I also like Mozart and Beethoven.

I smoke where I want and when I want and don't care who likes it.

When I walk, I move with the speed of a turtle. Not because I have anything wrong with me, just because I like to let people know that I'll get there when I damn well get there.

I hate reading, I hate school and I hate doing homework, yet I've maintained a perfect 4.0 GPA for the last 6 semesters of college.

Does any of that fit within a gay stereotype?

I wear leather.
I have a large collection of boots.
I occasionally engage in "kinky" things.
I look at entirely too much porn.

Stereotypically gay enough for you?

You could have added "I say 'fierce' and 'fabulous' all the time"

But you are close enough :P:badgrin:

* I do this weird "flourish" with my wrist when I point at things.
* I love disco (although I love pretty much ALL kinds of music).
* When laughing, sometimes my voice randomly moves up into a giggle.
* I like to cross my legs when I sit.

And there's that whole "like to fuck guys" thing, but I guess that's more definition than stereotype.

>>>everyone cares about their looks so that one doesn't count

Gargoyle calling bullshit. Look at me at any given day, and tell me I care about my looks. :)
