I know this thread is old but I just want to remember mtv spring break and summer break too. When they would go to seaside heights. and we had cancun undercover....fashionably loud etc etc etc....the jerry springer show....ohhh the good times on Mtv. Also in winter when they would goto big bear lake ...and have a winter edition of all the great events.....oh the old days.....

However, I do agree with the whole thing about growing up. Because i cannot stay interested in Realworld or roadrules at all.... I remember having to be at my tv for real world miami but now i dont even know what day it is on. I have watched up to about real world chicago. I loved seattle and new orleans (ohhh danny)

The whole channel sucks now..it needs a major overhaul I don't know why Viacom doesn't make a seperate channel to air all the crap reality shows and let MTV actually have music on it, like tomorrow (4/9) there is only 2 1/2 hours of music related programming from 6:00am to 5:00am and 1 1/2 hours of that is about Hilary Duff.

Oh I know me too! Back in middle school MTV's Spring Break was porn for me! Some of my best memories:

I totally agree. MTV Springer Break was the closest thing I got to porn when I was a preteen. My favorites moments were:

-when the guy jump-roped on stage naked

It's officially been so long since I've seen an MTV Spring Break that I only have one memory left.

Leading up to, and (I think) trailing off from Spring Break 1992, MTV made these little promos. They involved people singing (poorly) along with Young Holt Unlimited's "Soulful Strut". "This is a moment, this is a Spring Break moment...and here it is..." Then we'd see some ten second clip of a girl's boobs bouncing, or a guys pouring seawater on their sculpted chest. That would be followed by "That was a moment, that was a Spring Break moment...that's all there is."
