Homer is a great cat name!^ With my late boy cat Homer, there was a simple reason for the disappearance of catnip mice. He ate them.

Well, we added another 3 mice to our stock...because we have no idea where they are all going.
I found two of Zeus’ fetch balls. Still haven’t found his favorite one.
One under the microwave cart and one under the couch. And where were they?
Zeus’ favorite ball that he plays fetch with is missing. I’ve searched the entire house.
Maybe it’s in the same place my socks go.
For me, it's gotta be under the couch for disappearing cat toys.My cat has never liked playing with toys
When I first got him (12 years old) he would bring mice into the house, play with them til they died of fright and then just leave them for me to clear up
Stick it in a bag of catnip. When the boys stop playing with a toy I’ll store it away for a week and pull it out of the bag and they think they got a new toy.We are down to 1 stuffed mouse with the good tail. I have another 3-pack at the ready...but damn girl....why so many mouses sent to Mouselandia?
She got the one mouse without the good tail in her litter and even though I washed it...and it emerged from the dryer instead of being teleported...it is now rejected.
