I came for the cock and stayed for the very nice people I've met. A few have had the patience to "put up" with me - others have not. But I think i'm fortunate that I've met some nice guys here - from whom I"ve learned a lot --
People are complex - there's not doubt about it -- It's very evident here -- every day.
I've said this before -- but it's truly great that i can come here and say things about guys to other guys - that I could never say in "real life" --
and they understand and often feel the same way -- so that's a great connection I can't make with peeps in my real world.

Ummm...probably that the LGBT community needs to get its shit together if it ever wants to progress. The amount of inter-discrimination is a tad disheartening.

There are some very odd fetishes out there.

American politics are insufferably annoying.

Hollister stores are nightmarish. I will never take the brand name advice from a LGBT person again.
 
1) I don't have to be right, even if I am.

2) It takes all kinds to make a world.

3) Even people I don't like will eventually say something with which I agree, and even my favorite people will eventually say something to piss me off... ergo, everyone has both negative and positive value.
 
I've mostly learned that being gay and horny all the time is unusual here at any age, but now that I am seventy as of today, I get sex a lot more than most JUBBERS. Go figure. :p:rolleyes:
 
Like Elvin, I too think it's neat getting to know people from all over the world. But.....I am surprised that in my five years here, i have YET to have anyone from my "real world" daily life, come up to me and say..."hey, I know you from Just Us Boys!".......

unfortunately, I've also learned there is a lot of inner LGBT hate, especially concerning bisexuals that I have noticed.

This place is very interesting. I have long heard about it from a couple of people, and it is an entirely different thing than I expected.

I've learnt from a couple of JUBbers not to take everything to heart, not to worry about the small stuff and just enjoy the ride of life.

And I've also learnt the are some serious weirdos in the world too. :lol:
 
I have learned that Jayden is a gentle soul who writes a hell of a blog, and that international chat and/or email buds are good to have. I have also been reminded that we belong to a group that comes out one person at a time and need the same reasurances and support that I needed. Oh, and one more thing: parents are still capable of surprising their children.
