What have you done today?

Today was the start of my weekend and was delivered to me with cottony blue skies and balmy air. I raked up the last of the leaves that were warming the stray corners of my yard. And then, as Daphne was wafting all around, I pruned my Redbud tree. I spotted a Hummingbird picking floss for its nest. I attached a windowbox to one of my dreary windows; when the nursery re-stocks, I'll fill it with ferns. All in all, a rare February day.
