It has to be a two way street. And both sides need to want similar things in the relationship.

hmmm great thread! I learned too many things:
1. Long distance relationships are not worth while.
2. Closet cases are not worth it either.
3. Trust is the foundation of a relationship.
4. Both persons have to be at the same level of maturity. Being in a relationship means sacrificing partying for a night for a movie night or dinner.
But you know, I don't regret any of my past relationships. I am really close friends with all 3 of them, so I guess they were not all that bad.
