There are some things that have to be mailed -- I get documents that have to be signed a couple of times a month, and the only way to send them is through the mail.

A roommate worked at UPS over Christmas one year. They charge by some ratio of length/width/height and by weight. That's what I remember from shipping a couple dozen boxes, too -- after the first few, I just used a standard box that maximized my volume per dollar of shipping cost.

It is sad:


1. that someone pretends to be a borg

2. that that someone not only has NOTHING of a borg, but is closer to their opposite

3. that he can talk, even jokingly, of teaching lessons on morals and humanity to someone else, based on a few one-liners dropped on the net.
