Oh - and on-topic (what have you learnt today?) - I've just learnt that there's a geographical Spanish exclave nearby in the mountains up there - Llívia.

I never knew that!

Why not Vall de Núria?

What about this

or this

or ...

There was a movie of Steve McQueen with LeVar Burton on TV right now, and that taught me to relate the face of Geordi La Forge without his visor to that of Kunta Kinte.

drinking tequila is how i deal with family . My mom can be verbally abusive at times but I just learned to not pay her any attention.

If I put shredded paper in a shallow trench in the ground, then slowly sift dry sand over it, the sand will sift down in and fill all the empty space between the little bits of paper. This is good, because it makes a nice matrix of organic fiber that will hold moisture better than a thin layer of shredded paper.

And when one has taken a bit much in medicinal herb, watching the sand sift down in is quite fascinating. :D

The lift maintenance man is damn kjwte: athletic slim, in his thirties, green-ish eyes of the sort I find acceptable, silly spiky dark hair that looks lovely and even formal and, finally, the sort of manly dollish face (that is, pretty, but longish, not rounded like a porcelain doll or the Asian type... or myself 8-) ).
Damn, it must have shown up that I found him so, but it's not like I am fantasizing or anything  just being appreciative
