Even though I feel comfortable being affectionate with my bf and it feels natural.. I see lesbians kissing and gay men holding hands and something feels weird.. like I'm not used to it.. maybe its the str8 community brainwashing me. The str8 community says we are all sluts and think only about sex... I look at the gay men I know personally and its somewhat true... Someone help me and give me a boost of confidence!

Its a cultural thing. No matter how much you know that the notion that gays are all sex obsessed sluts is nonsense, the stereotype is so pervasive in the world that some of the mud sticks. I bet you don't think twice when you see straight couples holding hands, hugging, kissing (even having a quick drunken fumble against the bins behind a nightclub at 2am) - because this is what society and culture has deemed as normal. Its a bit like the little bit of latent racism which is always there. There are so many negative images and stereotypes of black/asian/jewish/latino people, that it is almost impossible for one of those negative thoughts to creep into your own consciousness when one of these races or groups is seen/met/discussed.

At some point in the future, with a bit of luck, it will become the norm for people to think it wrong and a sin to harbour ill-considered prejudices against any group of people whose lives and predelections have absolutely no impact on their own lives.

Mmmm this coming from a guy who has god knows how many pictures of himself naked being fucked by his boyfriend and a third guy they invited for a 3-some on the World Wide Web. I do not know about anyone else but for me I find this kind of ironic???

I am quite certain it is not sin. In fact I believe it is not sin because I believe in God. Sex is one of the really good things God has done. It is people who weild the power of guilt and doubt over people who are different than they are.

The very question gives us the answer. Sin is an act not a state of being. Gay is what we are not what we do. When we put people down, when we accuse other people falsely of something, and when we use people for our own purposes, those things are actions that are contrary to God's purposes.

Gay is neither wrong nor a sin.

There is homosexuality through out the entire animal kingdom. It is natural in every way. Sex is supposed to be about procreation and not for pleasure but everyone is doing it for pleasure, especially straight people. Religion is a rule book made to control peoples actions through guilt and fear. When we have sex are we making a baby? No but we are enjoying ourselves and we should be in charge of our own bodies and not allow other peoples opinions to make us feel guilty.
