Well to be strictly correct, in Sims 2, guys only got pregnant from being abducted by aliens.

And they only got abducted by aliens by having them look through the telescope on a high-level floor.

And EVEN THEN it was a remote chance at best they'd be taken. OMG, I remember the hassle I had getting it done, I only managed it once and that was in the University expansion pack if I remember rightly. Oh and of course the pre-scripted scenario in one of the start-up houses at the very beginning.

What would change? Gay men would be less likely to adopt and more children would either die or go into foster care.

Gay men would have heated arguments about who should carry the child. "You're older so you have less to loose" and "You will never get me to eat for two".

Man carrying would be in a high risk of getting harassed and even attacked/killed. Depends on the location though. Bible humpers would go nuts (although I doubt the Bible speaks against men carrying children).

What fascinates me more though is creating a baby with two sperm cells so both men are the biological father.

Another poster got there first but I'm pretty sure the "basic blueprint" of our status as humans is carried by the X. The Y diverts the X into malehood, but YY wouldn't do anything by itself. Wouldn't be viable as far as I understand it.
