  • Hi Guest - Did you know?
Hot Topics is a Safe for Work (SFW) forum.

What if the guy your dating tells you he has genital herpes and your in love with him?

Two weeks to feel I love someone? Meh, more like a case of obsession.

Anyway, if he has active herpes, he has to get treated until he's healed. He also has to check for other STDs, especially HIV/AIDS, and also hepatitis B. Then he has to be very aware of his body condition so he won't contract the disease to me. An answer no to each of the question, then I don't see why I have to continue with him.

I'd await the next episode of Trolls Of Our Days, while waiting on animalus' As The Trolls Turn to come back on.

Can't resist my soaps, and neither can you. I'm super cereal.

I'd expose myself to the pizza delivery guy.

Lex

LOL thanks for the laugh.

back on topic.

If I really liked him I'd continue seeing him. There are medications (valtrex) and others available that help suppress outbreaks and if you use a condom there is little to no chance of contracting herpes. The medication only suppresses the chances of an outbreak and WILL NOT prevent you from contracting the disease. You MUST use a condom. I'd be glad he was open and honest with me about his condition. He sounds like a good person.

Steven.
