I don't know about you guys - - - but I get pissed when I open a site that advertizes "HUNKS" and find anything but "HUNKS!". . . . . . . . . . !

I dunno... all I know is the last guy, to me, is the least attractive of the 3. The first guy is cute, the last 2 I don't find attractive. At the same time, the last guy is the only one I'd consider out of the 3 to be a "hunk". But that was the intent of this thread...

Hunk, to me, is a masculine guy under the age of 40 with a well-developed physique.
 
Repeat after me: NOT EVERYONE HAS THE SAME TASTE IN MEN!!! As there are no judging standards carved in stone that define what the term HUNK means, everyone is going to have different tastes. If this was like the dog show world, then we would have perfectly defined standards to go by (could we use cock size, chest, waist, biceps measurments, were his parents "pure breed" IQ etc to define this term) I dont think so. Although I would gladly agree to judge "best in show" if they ever have this "Hunk Show"

My definition of hunk will probably be different then yours, to each his own.
 
well anyone is free to think that a hunk can mean different things to different people. But that's like saying a twink or a bear can also be different things. I think in our community there always has been an informal standard or convention with these categories. Even the Webster dictionary recognizes hunk as slang for a attractive well-built man. Wiki shows it as an attractive, muscular man.

Like any community, we rely on a lingo so we all know what the hell the other guy is talking about.
 
I agree...the first two, while sexy in their own way, are not 'hunks' in the conventional sense of the word; the last one , as far as my own taste goes, is definitely not a hunk... though muscular he doesn't look masculine (manly) to me...

I sure do! It's not that I expect every man should be a hunk--just like I don't expect every man to be hung like a stallion--I just get pissed with all the FALSE advertising.
