What is the best weight loss drug out there right now ?

I hate to tell you but there is no such thing as a "best weight loss drug", or even a worst one for that matter. If any drug really worked, the patent owner would have more money than Bill and Warren combined!

Hate to tell you mate but weight loss means using more calories than you are eating. It is as simple as that! Diet, exercise and, believe it or not, sleep is waht it takes.

don't trust those weight loss pills. I am on my own diet right now and so far had lost 30 lbs ever since November. I use to believe in a weightloss plan or weightloss pills, but after I truly convince myself that I am still young and I can change my bad habit, I'll lose weight.

Eat less, exercise more. Put an effort into it. Don't expect pounds to be loss overnight. Be realistic, when you first start out, plan to lose about 1/2 lb a week is enough.

You don't have to jump right into weight lifting from scratch. Start out small.
Eat smaller portions, if you feel you've eaten more than you should have, go take an easy 20 minutes to half an hour faster-pace than normal walk.

When you are use walking then start putting jogging into your exercise. Believe it or not, at first when you start eating less, you always feel unsatisfied. After awhile, for me right now, if I eat more than I normally do I feel so stretched out and uncomfortable. You will get use to eating less.

When you start exercising you will get tired easily and feel sore, so do not overwork those muscles. Taking small walks for about a week, then start jogging and walking for like a mile one or two times a week. Then jogging will eventually turn into running.

For me, I run every other day. On those days I do not run, I play serious tennis.
I still give myself saturday night and sunday off. Then start all over on monday.
Once you're use to exercising, which shouldn't take much time...should be about 1 month after, then start weight training.

Don't overwork your muscles or do too much exercise whenever. After the first months, you'll be able to do any type of exercising without feeling pain at all. Train yourself to never have the bad habit of over eat. Train yourself to fix that habit if you did over eat.

Be realistic, It took me over 6 months to lose this much weights...but, I enjoyed it the whole time. When you start dedicating yourself to exercise, you'll feel much better.

Eat less.

Move more.

There is evidence that supplementing your diet with conjugated linoleic acid (CLA) during weight loss may help ensure that the weight you lose is fat rather than muscle. But it's not really a "weight loss" supplement, and thermogenic slimming aids aren't really useful unless you're already a good weight and trying to lose the last drop of body fat to get muscle definition. I wouldn't bother with them under other circumstances

Any other advice boils down to "Eat less. Move more."

GLV & Plenty of Clean Treated Plain Water.

The best so far. Being a health consultant, I have never seen anything more powerful than these combo. All of my clients are satisfied with the formula. They have more energy, more stamina, feeling lighter, and they have great sex life. I honestly couldn't believe any better drug out there. Nothing beats GLV. Absolutely nothing. And they are pretty dirt cheap. Dirt Cheap.

You know I agree with the ideas here, but the first block is so wrong. Why? Because its its own causality. Because people say there is no wonder drug otherwise everybody would buy it or the sort, people then believe there is none, so if one ever did develop, some people would try it and swear by it, and others would think it was a load and never consider it. Hence, such a statement is not really an observation, its more of a manipulation whether intended or not.

Nothing personal against Ramindra though.

As far as wonder drugs, the type that I believe they will have working in five years are more of a, hormone based type?, that instead of doing the work for you, just make you want to be more active and make you do the work. First saw it on the news a year ago and have done a little looking in to.

Therefore, one day you could have the best of both worlds, a wonder drug with hard work. LOL!

A fairly good number of prescription drugs work as weight loss drug, most of them are amphetamines which have a nice list of side effects. There are a few others that are used off label with some success, but they aren't used that often. Not many doctors will prescribe any drugs for weight loss.

Okay, I will hate myself for telling you this but If you really neccessary need a weightloss pill...

Go to your doctor or physician. Ask them for a prescription of Phentermine. phentermine is a drug primarily use as an anti-suppressant. It is typically prescribed for individuals who are at increased medical risk because of their weight, as opposed to cosmetic weight loss. It works so much faster and better than any weightloss drugs that you can buy from the store.

To be honest, like all other drugs, it will only works when you are taking it. When you have reached your desired weight, you should stop. I once asked for this about 2 years ago. Lost 30 lbs in one month. Went on a vacation and showed off my body and was loving it. yet, everything has a problem. After you stop, you will slowly gain all the weight back. Unless you exercise and make a commitment to control your food intake, no pills will help you forever.

Phentermine worked for me as well--it was like drinking 100 cups of coffee at once, my house will never as clean again. I lost around 25 pounds but was jittery as hell.

Awesome thanks !

no problem... I hope it works for you.

As for me now..I'm doing it the old fashion way, exercise my ass off. By the way, my legs hurts like hell now. hehehe

Bingo.

The best weight loss "drug" is knowledge. Knowledge is power. If you have knowledge about what you should eat and how much, you've licked it.

Dieting is not the answer, really. You have to make permanent lifestyle changes. Drugs and fad diets are basically quick fixes. As soon as you stop taking the drugs and/or go off the diet, 9 times out of 10 the weight will come back. Because it's simply not realistic to believe these drugs can be taken for the rest of your life, nor do you want to go the rest of your life eating cabbage soup or restricting or eliminating particular food groups. That and it isn't healthy.

If you're serious about losing weight, find some online calorie calculators. Play with them a bit. Find your averages. You may see different numbers because it's not an exact science, these will just be estimates. Find one that asks for your age, sex, height, current weight and activity level.

For example, a 25-year-old male who weighs 250 pounds and stands about 5'10 (I'm just shooting off numbers from the top of my head) and has a light activity level (normal, everyday activities) needs approximately 3044 calories to maintain his current weight. To lose 1-2 pounds per week, subtract 500 from that total. He can eat 2544 calories per day and lose 4-8 pounds per month, provided there are no health problems that is causing him to gain weight.

There are no quick fixes out there. There are no "miracle" drugs. You simply have to take in fewer calories than your body is burning for energy. But weight loss should be a slow and gradual process. You didn't gain the weight in one month and you won't lose it in one month, either. You have to do it slowly while eating healthy or you're gonna lose a lot more than just the fat.

Stolichnaya, Marlboro Reds and Cocaine works for me, although exercise is supposedly better for you

Do not listen to that fool.

The best things you can do have already been posted: Drink tons of Water, Eat Less, Excerise More, Eat More Vegetables and Fruit, and Sleep regulary (meaning a night to night regularity of time). Thats what I did last summer, and I dropped 45 Pounds in 5 months.

GO FOR IT BABE!

I have to say that I sincerely belive weight loss drugs are dangerous, and since they always seem to require diet and excersise, why take them.
In most cases all you need is strong desire and a commitment to loose weight.
Talking to your doctor is also very helpful, he/she can give you a lot of advise, and I doubt any of em will tell you to take a pill.
I weigh the same now that I did when I was in High School 10 years ago, and it's all done through excersise and eating well.
You can have a burger now and then and a nice rich desert but moderation and excersise is key.
It just seems to me, when you take pills for this or that, the body does not always accept them and sometimes throws all kinds of nasty side effects at you.
You just don't always know what those pills or medications are doing to you, or how they will effect you later in life, and unless what allies me is life threatening or causing a lot of discomfort and pain, I stay clear of pills.
I love my body. which is why I drink in moderation and never do drugs, medical or social.
