What is the exterior color of your home?

My friend and I were talking and she told me her husband got pissed so he painted their house (inside and out) bright orange. She told me I needed to see it to get the full understanding of his stupidity. Today I drove by and there in the middle of only white homes is their huge neon orange house. It got me thinking about the color of other’s places.

So what is the color of the place you live?


Mine is a dirty tan or it could just be tan that is dirty.
 
We have normal red brick house, except the woodwork is all painted chocolate brown.
We have huge great big bay windows on both floors which are joined together with chocolate coloured frames and the same for our door...

Near where I live though there is a whole road with all pastel coloured houses. It's like a littke toy town.
 
Mine is gray with red stripes and a nature scene on the side..I live in an RV since retiring..LOL

Mostly white.

But the gutters and porch are are tan kinda color.

But when it starts to get a bit warmer I'm gonna re-paint the enitre outside a different color.
 
Mine is red brick. The shutters are dark gray. The 'gable' over the porch is light gray, and the trim is white.
 
2 story tan w french blue trim and yard has used brick raised bed planters, tree square and mail box. nothing special...beats sleeping under a bridge lol

Actually it was not my friend he was mad it, it was her mother.

It only happened because my friend and her husband just had their second kid, but the kid was two weeks early. Because of medical problems their baby can’t be at their new house until it gets done all of the way. Anyways one day his mother in law went to look at how the house was coming and saw a can of paint to paint one room. She said something about it not looking right and it made him mad.

As for how the inside and outside got painted so fast, it was because the house they bought has an old swimming pool. The house was on the market for a while so it was empty and some skaters started to use it. They all became friends so the skaters are helping to fix the house up during the day and then at night they skate vert.

Her mother was there in the morning and by the next day the house was orange. I am thinking of going to get some pictures tomorrow.

My house is deep greyish blue wood frame house (no sidings) with off white trim and plum/eggplant accents. Black shingles.
 
Living in an apartment, greenish-gray siding...and typical roof...don't remember the color. #-o

I don't give it long before she makes him change it. She told me she hates it and so do some of the people that they moved next too.



Out of curiosity what are some of the things you have bought?
 
Simple white beach bungalow. I do have a red front door since the entrance to heaven is behind a red door...

First floor has a large living room (with fireplace), dining room (with built in hutch), kitchen, sun room, two bedrooms, and a full bath. Upstairs, two larger bedrooms, full bath, and "half" attic. All of the bedrooms have a closet with a built in dresser. Each floor also has a hallway closet plus a linen closet. Full basement is "10 course", open-structured, with two small "side" rooms.

When you hit "Reply", scroll down to "Manage Attachments". A new window will open with 5 "Browse" options. Hit a "Browse" button, and navigate to the picture you want to upload. Select it ... hit "Open". Once you've selected the pics you want, in the "Browse" window, hit "Upload". The attachments will list, under the "Reply" window under "Manage Attachments". If you want them to appear as full size in your Reply, right click on the listing, and select "Copy Image Location". In the "Reply" window, select the "Mountain Icon", and paste (Control/Apple "V") into the window that comes up. If you want to leave them as attachments, at the bottom of your "Reply", simply hit "Submit Reply" when you're done typing what you want to say.

lol i thought you meant pissed as in inebriated until i read the rest of the thread.

my house is light yellow. i want to paint it grey.
