Let me state clearly. It is a fact that some individuals here ARE trolls. I have some of them on my ignore list.

Your last statement shows exactly that you still don't understand what I mean.

Some chat forums use them to post random 'conversation starters' so the forum looks busy

It does seem as though a disagreement has spilled from one thread to another.

Perhaps everyone should accept that for some people on-line, everyone else they interact with is just an abstraction...a faceless and disembodied avatar, which is what I believe was the original intention of the comment.

Sure, some of the people here actually interact with one another off-line and some have even met one another and I know that some have even helped other people out when they were in a bind, but it is possible to use a porn bulletin board for nothing more other than to fire off random information or questions and really believe that the responses are simply algorythmic.

And I'm not sure that it is such a problem. Everyone comes here for different reasons and to interact at different levels.

Just some more of the "look at me" postings. I don't understand the constant need to have people reconfirm your self worth. Especially if the are just "bots" to you. I'm not upset at Zombie for saying that. I'm glad that other people are starting to see his postings for what they are.
