This isn't meant to be offensive. I am 100% serious.

Why don't people who have zero use for their legs get them removed? If they had their legs removed they could walk on their hands and get everywhere.

They wouldn't need to use ramps and lifts all the time.
If the fire alarm went off they could get outside by themselves.
They could fit through really tight spaces.
They could use public toilets even if there wasn't a wheelchair cubicle - maybe they would have to start fitting some handles to the side of the toilet so they could easily push themselves up but it would be a lot easier than the massive cubicles they normally have. The guys could even use some urinals (the trough ones that reach the floor)

i don't know. This guy seems to do really well:

as it happens I am disabled and strictly confined to a wheelchair . Perhaps atypically the condition that renders my legs almost useless affects my arms as well ( I can't crawl ). You must consider the practical issue of speed . However strong and capable your arms are that still would be a very slow way to get from point a to b . As it is it can take 5 minutes to open a can but I can move 30 feet in seconds . Having dead legs removed would practically almost never speed things up or make something possible that would otherwise not be . What would make a difference would be changes in wheelchair design . This wheelchair is perhaps 3 inches too wide to get through one door ( front . so I cannot go out ) : fortunately in this house I can still get through my bathroom door . Thinking practically nothing would be easier with no legs .

Do you seriously think all disabled people have the adequate strength to move their entire body using only their arms? Do you think it's easy to balance the body when you walk with arms?

The easiest way to understand is by trying to walk with your arms right now. Not so easy heh? There are indeed reasons why normal people walk with feet instead of arms or medical rehabilitation program would enlist walking with arms instead of wheelchairs as the last resort.

LMAO!!!! this must be a troll because nobody in their right mind is going to say something like this and be serious about it.

I know you say you're being serious, but I just can't help but laugh!!! :rotflmao:

If you REALLY don't know the answer to the question, you are straight up stupid.

At least the question is funny.
Why don't you answer the stupid question instead of attacking the person ?

The question is NOT funny. It is offensive, and completely ignorant. I'm glad you've gotten a good laugh at the expense of those of us who have to face this issue head on.

I wish I could say I have never seen such ignorance but, alas, this is not the first or last time I will face being laughed at or ridiculed for wanting, God forbid, to be as normal as possible in this fucked up society.

I laugh just a tiny bit unlike mike1491 ;)

Because it's a stupid question and he needed to be told...because it is a STUPID question.

People are allowed to ask stupid questions.

I sometimes ask a lot of stupid questions. That is how you learn.
If you are not stupid, you are not human !!!

Perhaps those with limited use if their brains/heads should have those removed as well.

There are stupid questions...and then there are "OMFG what is wrong with you are you mentally impaired you can't be serious oh please realize what you just said" stupid questions.

I completely agree with this!

But only if we get to start with you as the test person, we can cut off the things that are not needed like the legs and arms and mouth etc... then we can go from there and see if it is a good idea on future people.

Ok everyone... lets hold him down.. I brought the exacto knife!

and how the hell could you run out of popcorn looseliam!! holy jeebus!!! let us all down!
