What is the strangest thing your ex did when your broke up?

Phoned me up six months later to tell me how wonderful his life was 'now'. As if I cared by then!:confused:
 
My ex met me at our marriage counseler's office for a final meeting to get closure on the fact that I was leaving him after several years together. During our final session, my ex presented me with a bill for every meal, gift, holiday, etc. that he had ever given me. Of course, there were no deductions for anything I had done for him, nor the fact that I left ALL of our assets (a few hundred thousand dollars worth)with him, leaving with only five dollars in my pocket (because it was worth it to me to get out of the relationship). I reviewed his bill, laughed and said to our counseler, "Now do you understand why I'm leaving?"
 
strangest thing would be buying me a four pack of mars bars :confused:
 
Oh my god what a great idea for a thread!! Some interesting (and scarey) stories to read here. I had a girlfriend that is affectionetly known as "the psycho" amongst my friends. I got a letter from her two years after my divorce, said that she heard I was divorced and wondering if I wanted to get back in contact with her. She lives in Toronto now and found out A, I was divorced, and B, she found my new address to send this letter to. I have not seen or heard of her in 14 years. Sorry honey I don't do girls anymore!!!

He didnt' understand why I was so pissed.

This thread reminds me that I never had a relationship. Is it already available in Europe and how much does it cost?
 
We didn't quite break up, he just dumped me for a friend of mine. Then both of them stopped talking to me.

The weirdest thing was when he said he wanted to pay me for a present I made 3 months prior, he said he didn't want to owe me anything...
 
Probably the strangest ex was the bloke who told his mother all of these lies about the way i'd treated him, saying that I was getting physically abusive. Ironic considering that he was the one who was sleeping around town with God knows what. Me and his mother were really close before he spewed all these lies and then when she saw me one day on the street, she came over and started yelling at me for mistreating her precious son! I took her for a coffee to cool her down and told her exactly what happened and she said she sort of knew her son was a piece of shit anyway and was lying. I still speak to him but only when it suits me and only when I know I can publicly humiliate him, which strangely enough is quite often.

Now I can sympathise with that.

He told me the first day of our summer holiday, we had just bought a new house together, that he wanted to get married. No not to me but to the women who was advising us on the decoration.

So that was that, no fighting, no possible alternatives, just a lot of tears on his part and a lot of anxiety on my part deciding what to do with my life now.

The hurtful part was he never spoke to me again from the moment I left to catch the plane home.

And you wonder why Soilwork is so aggressive towards bi guys. Often, though extremely hard in his comments, he is right.
 
Called my mobile phone 4 times and my room phone 3 times - which my straight roommate helped to keep count... I was not in - I went out to get something to eat without my phone.

And then, when I returned call, I was accused of intentionally avoiding him.

And then, he wanted a post-mortem on the relationship - he wanted to know the reason.

This was 2 days after he confessed he had sex with another guy.
 
My ex-wife was spit fire mad that I had filed for divorce. After 3 years of seperation, she said she was waitng for ME to make the first move to have her come back!! And she left me for another guy!
 
my ex and I broke up because, I found out he was cheating on me and so right after he moved out, he sent an e-mail from my account to everyone who was on my contact list prentending to be me as an FIY saying, "I decided to break up with him and kick him out of my apartment, because I had been seeing someone else for weeks now behind his back and wanted to move the new guy in with me....." My contact list included co-workers, family, etc. I was furious.....
 
Took me with him to meet his new "friend" for the first time.... 2 days after we broke up.
