What is wrong with Pakistan ?

LOL Love it.

Are you an Ayn Rand devotee? You seem to consider selfishness to be a virtue.

don't know who that is but i'm curious to know what is the point in looking down at islam as a religion because you may have some people that use it for the wrong reasons why the same thing could be said about christianity.

The real question has not been asked is: What is wrong with Telstra? ...making a thread NOT about poop.

.
Is Pakistan a tourist destination as Thailand ?
I haven't heard of it.

But it won't happen: religious people are far more likely to contribute, and to contribute more, to such things.

And religious people are more likely to oppose gay marriage, gay rights in general, reproductive rights including abortion and contraceptive use, stem cell research and more in favor of abstinence only sex education, teaching creationism is public science classrooms and promoting their specific religious values through legislation at the expense of everyone who doesn't share their religious beliefs. Name for me on good deed with a tangible, real-world benefit that could only be performed by a religious person.

That model CAN and DOES exist.

There is no time like today to make that transition a reality. But, I don't hear so much about how that model is being supported here, only the relentless griping.

If secular humanitarianism is the choice, then great, but let's here it being actively supported by those who post here, not just the all-too-easy diatribes about part of religion, and not working to replace the good with secular sweat.

As far as likening religion to a cancer, that sort of broad brush is also used by religions to condemn all of homosexuality, painting it with one color of extremism. Sound familiar?

Except that religion does have real-world negative consequences on society like hindering societal progress. Homosexuality is condemned by religion because their scripture says it is immoral where in reality the negative consequences of homosexuality are nonexistent. As my avatar demonstrates, I do actively promote Humanism (Secular Humanism) because it is superior to religious morality. Secular ethics are not limited by dogma or doctrines and instead are weighed by tangible real-world consequences and empathy for others.

Hard-up1, your post didn't teach me anything.
Let people from a Pakistani background make some comments.
