Probably my favourite followed by retriever or lab.

I know someone with an Irish Setter that is a drool machine. We don't even go there anymore. It flies everywhere. Lovely Dog though if he isn't sliming you

No idea really, i like them to be about waist height so that rules out some of the smaller breeds.

As I've mentioned I'm sure, I've raised several Doberman Pinschers.

I just love 'em to pieces. I recognize that a significant portion of my attachment is irrational because there isn't a reliable kind of substantive Doberman archetype; like all breeds, personality and temperament are mediated by the individual. I've had a daffy, sweet-hearted lover, a reserved and regal leader and an insecure, needy baby.

I think it's worth adding that I would never get a bred dog from a dog breeder. In my experience they mostly suck , and there are plenty of purebred dogs that need rescuing.

I grew up with Boxers. I still think they are the best. They are incredibly curious and so expressive.

My overall favorite Dog would have to be the handsome and fun looking male Dalmatian, and though there have been many prominant Canines in my world, so far few compare. It does bare mentioning though, that I do also like male Whippets and male Boxers. My experiences with the delightful Dalmatian however, have been nothing short of equal parts madcap hilarity along with compassionate companionship, both stitched together into a multitude of memory making moments. I could easily list all thier wonderful attributes but I'll not weight you with the minutiae of my obvious attraction. Let's just say my enjoyment of this deliciously endearing breed has been constant through the years and they hold a special place in my heart...so much so that my wide eyed infatuation with them has often left me seeing spots. Get it? Seeing Spots? Well whatever, I thought it was doggone funny!

Definitely, a Great Dane! I had one, back in the early 80s and she had to be put down! If I were to get another pet, it would only be a Great Dane...no other pet type and no other dog type! :)

Siberian Huskies. I think they're beautiful.

Bulldogs. Ugly and adorable at the same time.

Rottweilers. Scary and adorable at the same time. Also German Shepherds.

Border Collies. Beautiful and smart. My dog. I had her for only two years before she developed cancer and died at five. I was so close to her I swore I'd never get another dog. I switched to cats, thinking they're not as loveable. I was wrong.

I'm also gonna say Chihuahuas. I never considered them appealing until I got to know one. So fun! And they're not as apt to annoy you with incessant, ear piercing shrieks as other small dogs. But I much prefer large breeds.

Cocker Spaniels. They’re such lovable and loyal dogs. So smart too.
