What is your favorite kind of weather?

When there are bad storms in the area. As a weather junkie, I love tornados, storms, and stuff. When it **really** hits the fan, that's when I'm like:

...And that's when you will likely find me at my laptop, monitoring what's going on, with a bucket of popcorn beside me. :corn: :corn: ..|

Diversity is key. If I lived anywhere where the weather was the same all the time, I would be bored.

This.

A warm, sunny day is wonderful, but so is one of those snowy winter days with white frost covering all the trees and shrubs. On the other hand, nothing like a rainy night with the sound of thunder to snuggle in bed with your man. Of course, there is always the colorful fall days with cool nights and warm, dry days. Anything less is just dull.

I love warm sunny summer like days. That's why I moved to south Florida. Even though we do get a lot of rain in the summer usually it's passing showers and sometimes it will rain for 10 minutes and clear up. You don't get too many gray days where it will rain all day here.

I like cool sunny days particularly in fall, a little drizzle or shower here and there is not bad either.

Just about any weather under 60 F.

Left Miami because of heat and humidity. Left DC/Delaware for same reason.

When it is raining and there is thunder and lightning all around and the sky is covered with dark clouds is when I feel the most alive!

Thick snowfall with little to no wind

If I'm inside, and don't need to leave any time soon: heavy rain. Little wind. It's such a good sound to fall asleep to, with the raindrops hitting the window. With the odd lightning storm.

If I'm going outside... Mild, really. Just enough so I won't have cause to notice the weather.

Interesting thread. Some of the regulars surprise me a bit.

Easy; fog. It gives me a wonderful, awe-inspiring sense of solitude.

I have always liked the fog as well.

Before I got hurt I wanted to go on a storm chasing vacation. http://www.stormchasing.com/ If you ever get the chance you should check one out.

Born and raised in the Pacific Northwest. I love overcast, breezy, and rainy.

I am down in the capital. I am so thankful for having rain for the last few days.

That is my favorite to go take pictures in. Doesn't happen much around here though.
