Definitely B... I LOVE Christmas time, almost to a point of it being an unhealthy obsession, lol. And why, well you pretty much covered it. I just love all the feelings that come with that time of year, like: decorating, getting the christmas tree, watching classic xmas movies, listening to music, playing games as a family, etc... just the closeness we experience. It's just awesome :)

My favourite is the day after.

Don't get me wrong, I love my family. I just can't stand them.

Most favourite time of year - Oct to Dec - fall colors, thanksgiving, halloween, first snow fall, Santa Claus parade, Christmas and everything about it, and New Year.

It's the time of the year that I find mystical and magical!

D. Public enthusiasm starts to thin out by then. Call me a Grinch, but the over-saturation of bright colours and annoying music is... well, annoying. And exhausting. Having that said, I won't say no to gifts, just don't expect anything in return :?

The food and the people. It's the same thing if you are a cannibal.

Christmas Day. I like the whole family celebrating together and getting along. I think the build-up to it is just as exciting though.

The whole season from Oct. 1st through Jan. 1st. The cool weather, fall colors, wind and rain, candles seen in windows, the moods, music, decorations, people are more civil to each other. The worst are the actual holidays themselves. Halloween is fun, but Thanksgiving is just gluttony. Christmas Day is just materialism. New Year's Day is a hangover. The family gatherings are boring or dysfunctional. But the "season of candles" from Oct. 1 through New Year's Day is my favorite time of the year.

Saying goodbye to colleagues on the eve of any holiday is always the best part. Nothing is better than walking out of the door knowing you won't see them again for 1, 2 3 or more weeks and all the exciting bits are still to come! :)

spend time w/my family I love and watching my honey go all out when he makes his dinners. He puts so much of him self into them. He wants to make them so perfect (he's a virgo) that when you sit down we go wow. I love him so much.......(*8*)

Thanksgiving for the classic turkey dinner and maybe watching the game(and dozing off) with the guys.

New Years is best of the three because X-mas has become Commerce Day not to mention I was burned on two different X-mas days years ago(I had to work holidays for years). A year after the second time I got burned someone made my day, made it worth working that New Years day.

When it is over. Too commercialized for me.

Halloween. Fuck everything else.

My aunt Edna pops valium like candy. I fix her extra strong bloody marys and take bets on how long it will take her to go down for a little nappy.

The Turkey ain't bad either.

Food, and the fact that it gets cold enough to actually wear light jackets. That's about it, oh and I suddenly have more free time, which is good. :)

The beginning of them.
