  • Hi Guest - Did you know?
Hot Topics is a Safe for Work (SFW) forum.

What is your favorite smell?

Freshly baked bread.
Another aroma that brings back a lot of memories. Grandma used to always bake bread on Sunday and a warm heel covered in real butter was always a treat.

Every time I smell Irish Spring bath soap brings back memories of the same grandparents. Their bathroom always smelled of Irish Springs.

Irish Spring always brings back great memories. The bar soap not the pump bullshit.

Several are foods cooking.

Pinto beans with onions and pork simmering.

A ham baking.

Warm vanilla pudding as you stir it for banana pudding.

My first cup of coffee in the morning.

Also love the clean smell of an indoor pool.

Decades ago 7 UP used to have a really nice lemon lime scent but not anymore.

I do love the perfume of a man's crotch.

I just had an ice cold Dr.Pepper (that I used to like) that tasted weird.

I hate when other things like age (or a change in formulation) ruin our taste for things we loved. Pneumonia ruined Coke, Dr. Pepper, Coffee and other things for me and actually made me violently averse to the aroma of some foods and perfumes.

Sure it was the Dr. Pepper, and not the stuffed cabbage you were eating at the time?!
