Saw this on FB and found the responses interesting...

Do you have one?

Little House on the Prairie

Get out the way...old Dan Tucker....

You're too late to get your supper....

At the moment I'm finally watching Season 19 of Greys Anatomy.

All TV is comforting to me because the escapism allows me to forget my life and how it's All Gone Wrong, but not if Netflix can help it.

I'm in the middle of season 1 of an incredibly good show. I can't ever remember enjoying a show this much. I am aware that it was cancelled after season 2, but I just found out that inexplicably, season 2 is missing. It's just not there anymore.

Why the FUCK would they do that? I am so vehemently PISSED OFF.

This is why people shoot up barbeques.

Unquestionably, anything with David Attenborough presenting.

He hosted so many great nature documentaries, and he addresses the learner as an equal, who simply hasn't heard before whatever he is teaching us. He's collegial.

Without exception, I leave his programs feeling more hopeful and appreciative of the wonders of the Creation and the responsibility we have to be the stewards of it.

And, as he ages and yet contributes notably, that the world is not the dominion of the young, the sexy, or the strong, but the learned, the hard-working, and the wise.

^^^^ I called Netflix and the woman I spoke to seemed amused at my despondency. She said it was my fault and to restart the app. It worked! Woohoo!

I didn't think of this. Definitely the most comforting show imaginable. I have the whole Planet Earth series on blu ray. You never get bored of re-watching it since it's appeal lies in the visual aesthetic rather than plot.

I have it on DVD. When it came out, I bought about five sets to give to friends and family. Just monumental.
