What is your first language?

I've noticed that there are several regular contributors to this forum who speak English as a foreign language. They include a Netherlander (you know who you are, sir!) who actually apologises for his faulty English even though he writes it more clearly than some members who seem to be native speakers.
So if your first language isn't English, what is it? Could there be members who are so fluent that we don't even suspect that they are foreign?

First Language is Italian.......did not speak a word of English until I was five.

Now I very rarely speak Italian.

Ya got me. We have so many ways of saying it. Maybe I could've have said oh, sure/yes? I never liked ba da. I'll just stick to da or mda.

Its me and you might consider Dutch as my first language. My English has a much lower level compared to people who are native speakers (Canadians, Brits, US citizens, etc.) and the my level is also lower compared to alot of other Dutch people who have Dutch as their native language. I don't have trouble to speak and to read English, but I am very well aware that the level is limited.
