The Central coast is a area 3hrs north of Los Angeles in Santa Barbara County California, known for great weather, local scenery,beaches,fishing,lakes,shopping, and plenty of celeb's (Opra lives here), and high real estate market, great vineyards- wineries. Medium housing cost around 500k to 1mil for good decent houses but cost of living is high. We live 1 hr north of SB in area of Santa Maria/Shell Beach. And our main home is in Shell Beach so on the water. Average temp's can range from 75-85 and sometimes upto low 100's during summer and can get to low 30's but no snow. We get plenty of frost though. Hope that helps
