I go by RJ or Toad.

I have family that doesn't even know my real name. :clown:

I don't have one. I used to have several, all based upon my name. My older neighbour used to call me 'Neilie' as did one of my work mates back in the early 80s. One of my classmates in high school used to call me 'Nee' (rhyming with 'knee'). My grandfather used to sing to me, "The cow kicked Nelly in the belly in the barn," and my first boss when I was a teen used to sing, "Oh, Nelly, put your belly next to mine."

As per policy, I don't use any part of my real-life name online, but I can say it is a single letter from my name, or that letter with a title.

Having a very common name, I always wanted a nickname in order to be different. Although suggested by my father years before, I didn't adopt the nickname until my first year of college when a woman with the same first name suggested it as a way to distinguish us, especially since there was a third woman in our dorm section with the name.

Just what everyone calls me here. Al. Not asshole like a few of you call me

Well, my mother used to call me "Fucktard!"

I guess it stuck. That's all the teachers called me until I graduated.

I had one as a child, it has not been used since I reached a place where I could shut the mouths of those who used it on me.

Rick. Of course when I was real young it was Ricky, but at a certain age I started to discourage that. My grandfather used to have nicknames for some of his grandchildren, but I don't think that he had one for me. He called one of my brothers "Splash".

B - few friends call me it.
Bull when I was younger, what my dad and uncle called me. No idea why.
Hed - in high school, was in reference to a band I didn’t even like but it stuck and some people didn’t even know my real name.

Then there are all the pet names I have from my relationships that would be too many to name.

they called me Scooter..some still do, some never even knew my real name...

Moonie.

Started all the way a lot of years ago when I made my first email account on Hotmail.

Then it was hacked and I had moonie44_2002_.

Affectionate variations of my real name.

I apologized for that. Wanted to make a joke but I am lame at it :(

That wasn't intended toward you :D and a bit of a joke itself
