What is your secret Food Sin?

I don't think I could handle that much meat on its own...

(heh heh) ;)

Mashed potatoes, veggies, stuff like that......

What do you serve meatloaf with? I don't think I could handle that much meat on its own...

Mashed potatoes and steamed veggies is what I eat it with. It also makes a FANTASTIC sandwich served either cold or warmed... or open face with some gravy on it. Chunks are good in an omelette as well.

Meatloaf is a magic "every food". Sorta of like ketchup. Which I can't eat steak without because I'm a culinary sinner.

As others have said, it's almost invariably served with mashed potatoes. :) And it's quite common to cut a small piece of meatloaf off with the side of the fork, run it through the mashed potatoes, and eat them both at the same time. Very tasty. :)

And the "extenders" - the bread crmubs and what not - keep it from being just a huge slab of meat. It IS filling, no doubt about it, but it's not like eating a huge slab of beef. :)

Dude, that's like confessing you've had "lustful thoughts".

I eat cookie dough straight from the package. Again, not very often, but I do love it.

Even better than meatloaf is left over meatloaf sandwich, with lettuce, mayo, cranberry sauce and a little salt. Yum, yum.

when I was a kid, I would put peanut butter on my pancakes while still hot, would be all runny and yummy with maple syrup all over it.

When I was a kid, my cousin and I would make 'cannibal sandwiches'.

RAW hamburger meat with Miracle Whip on Wonder Bread.

It was more of a 'dare you to eat it' kinda thing than anything else. And if our Moms had found out they would have slipped into seizures right there on the kitchen floor... ;)

Salted crisps (potato chips) between two buttered slices of thick white bread, with a generous spreading of mayonnaise speckled with black pepper. Lovely!
