I'll be able to pursue my dream job AND writing at the same thing.

No :lol: it's hard for me to describe it...

It's just that I know my marriage will be attended by few people (because most of the people I know are homophobic and will by no doubt turn down the invitation)...if I'm getting married anyway :(

Hmmm...

A nice house; there's some wonderful houses along the river here in Saskatoon, very old fashioned but wonderfully impressive and my style. The odds of getting such a house there is less than 1% (as most of the homes are generally family homes that tend to stay in the family when the current occupant no longer is able to live there), but you did say this was a dream.

I suppose at the same time I'd be either an MLA (Member of the Legislative Assembly) [think State Senator, for our American counterparts] or a MP (Member of Parliament) [think Representative, again for our American counterparts]. Ideally, I'd prefer to be in the government side, but would be happy in opposition as well.

Either way, I'd likely be put in charge of either being the Minister for Advanced Education, or the critic for Advanced Education if in opposition. This can't happen if I'm a MP, since there is no federal education positions, so I'd likely end up as just a backbench MP.

So, I'd have one the homes I've always wanted and the job I've always wanted.

As for the family situation...Probably one or two kids, don't know whether I want two sons or a son and a daughter yet though...

Oh, and I'd have a Jack Russell Terrier and perhaps a 'larger' dog, like a German Shepard.

I've already got the man of my dreams part, so no need to fantasize over that.
 
I will expand on my 'someday' dream. This is basically the unrealistic, highly romanticised version of my previous post:

Some day I will own a farm of reasonable size somewhere in the area of Melbourne with my husband.

For some reason, I think that's better than the stupid Nickelback song that I posted...
 
Hopefully someday I will finish my (graphic) novel and have it published. I will have a house of my own and I will get a pug that I will name Thug. I will have a guy that I can hold and trust and know that I will never be alone again. Those are my 'someday' dreams.
 
Someday I'd like to travel to and stay in Tokyo for, like, three weeks with a couple of my real good friends. We'd stay in a hotel, in a room with a view of the city that, at night, has one of those mystical techno-otherworld cityscape views. During the day we'd visit all the special wards from Shibuya to Akihabara, from the high-tech to the ancient. We'd get shit-faced at crazy clubs, we'd be humbled by the serenity and depth of temple life. We wouldn't have to worry about money because we'd have more than enough for our trip.
