My worst fear is that I will do something (rather it be conciously or unconciously) that would mess up somone else's life. I would accept death over ruining an innocent person's life.

what is yours?
 
i have so many fears...

never find the ''one'' and be always a virgin!!!

die too soon and not able to erase all my gay porn etc from laptop...

someone i love very much like my parents family etc dies...

i could keep saying....
 
Right now it's facing the reality of my life and feeling it will never be good enough, that I'll experience meaninglessness forever, that I'm too old to make changes, and not even knowing what those changes would be
 
Mine was always killing a child with my car. It happened a few times to children near where I lived, and a friend of mine had his child killed this way.
 
I have a peculiar terror of losing a limb. And burning. And being stuck in a small space, buried alive or crushed to death in a crowd. And clowns.

Not really rational fears. Fear and reason do not really mix: reason applied to fear becomes prudent caution... so long as I stay out of crowds and caves and circuses, campfires and combines, I should be OK.

Probably premature burial or burning to death.
 
my greatest fear is that I believe my own BS so much that I close myself off to others and their ideas, thereby limiting my ability to grow as a human being.

I might have been within a few feet of four terrorists in 2001. I was certainly within 150 feet of them.

Four days after "Nine One One" I was watching TV at somebody's apartment in New Jersey, and suddenly I noticed a familiar sight as they were talking about what the terrorists probably did, in the days before the attack. They showed the Valencia Motel in Laurel, Maryland - where I had stayed on September 9 going into the morning of the 10th. It turns out the four terrorists in the plane that crashed in Pennsylvania had been living there. And they were staying there that night, too.

My worst fear? Something happening to me, and nobody knowing for weeks or even perhaps months, as I have very little social life locally.
 
^I sat in the booth on the train next to the London Bombers the summer all those subway and bus stations were bombed in London. It was a train from Rome to Germany. The entire cart was filled with different police, SWAT, and members of the armed forces from every country between Rome and Germany. And it was the first class cabin, I have no idea why they would put them there and then not tell us to get out (they made everyone but my family get out of the car for some reason).
 
Probably feeling like my life has been a big waste. That I never experienced things.

My worst fear is being eaten alive. By humans or dinosaurs... or vampires.


Next would be burning alive... and cockroaches. :(
 
Let's see, maybe I should give a more serious response...

I fear being burned to death, or even worse, being seriously burned and surviving for a few days.

I fear car accidents. I don't fear death, but I fear being paralyzed or losing limb or being trapped inside the flaming wreckage.

I fear running out of money. I'm too old and too spoiled to know how to live without it.

I fear dying alone. Never finding another partner.

Which one is my worst fear ? Take your pick.
