I am a fun and friendly drunk - but it sounds like the level of drunk you are talking about is total inebriation. There is drunk as in having 10 drinks over the course of a couple of hours - and there is 10 drinks in a hour drunk.

Depends on what I drink:

1) Beer? Often a total downer. I enjoy it 'cause it loosens me up at a slow pace and because it's the only alcoholic drink I'll buy in a bar/club. But at a certain point, often combined with fatigue, I get cranky and depressed. So beer's not always a good drink for me.

2) Whisky? Never drink it at a bar, except when I feel like Mr. Moneybags and I'll spring for a few with coke. Whisky makes me frisky. It's true. I become very huggable, tactile and want to snog just about every cute guy there. And with any luck, I do snog a few. Also, whisky makes me happy. If not for the cost, it would definitely be my drink of choice.

3) Wine? Not a huge fan of it, but for some reason it's the best drink for me. A warm glow and a smile on my face. But I don't drink enough of it to make me drunk.
