It wasn't forgotten, the poll options are limited to just 10 choices. And since I've never had lemon meringue pie before, I didn't know how delicious it apparently is.

Apple, with plenty of pastry and cream.

Pecan pie is great with a scoop of vanilla ice cream on top of it.

My favorite3, butterscotch pie, is completely "off the grid" - most people have never even heard of it. Pictured is the butterscotch pie from Gray Brothers Cafeteria in Mooresville, Indiana - one of the few places that ever appear in foodie publications or websites, D D & D on the Food Channel, etc., that I've eaten in.
