What Kind of Shoes Do You Wear?

Just wondering, what kind of shoes or foot wear do you wear?

I'm wondering because it seems like a lot of guys on campus have more than one pair of shoes, never noticed that before. I was told by a friend you should have two pairs so that your shoes don't wear out as fast. Maybe one for winter and one for summer?

Anyway, I wear these. I actually have three pairs of them because I grew so fast during high school and college. That's the problem with being tall and having big feet- shoe shopping is not fun.

Enough babbling, what about everyone else?

I have a dozen pairs of shoes, but only two that I wear regularly: Timberland slip-ons in tan suede that I wear to work and Sperry madras canvas deck shoes I wear when I'm kicking around on weekends. When I worked in a more formal environment, I had black loafers and tan loafers and cordovan loafers that I wore depending on the color of my pants. I also have a pair of white Fila tennies for the gym, but I haven't worn them in months.

You should have more than one pair of shoes, not just to save wear but to give them a chance to air out so as not to stink. Especially if you're really active and do a lot of walking or running.

And if shoe-shopping isn't fun, may I suggest Zappos? They have a huge selection, and it's all done in the mail. I don't know how tall and big-footed you're talking about, but they carry up to 20EE.

I don't know what shoes look "gay" and which look "str8" but Steve Jobs also has the exact same pair so you may be on to something.

And I was wondering how long it would take something to suggest that.

More than one pair helps the one pair to dry out. Important in hot climates or when you get them wet in rain or snow and such.

That is a nice pair of shoes you showed man..

I usually wear Nikes for walking... for work, black or brown dress shoes..

And for extremely cas shoes... just use the canvas things with what I think is a rubber bottom.

I believe the style is called "casual dress" or "athletic inspired". I've got about a dozen pair. Black, brown, white, and gray.

I mainly where three pairs. One pair of dress shoes (Stephan Bossi for work) and the other two are casual: Converse and Steve Madden.

i wear a pair of new balance cross trainers every day. one of the few benefits of my job is that it allows me to wear polos, blue jeans and cross trainers to work.

i own several pair of sketchers casual shoes. i get weak for that brand for some reason. i have a couple pair of sandals and one good pair of dress shoes.

The one I wear the most is my pair of old sneakers. Still the best shoes I've ever worn (thanks to the cushion pads inside^^).

The other one is pantofle shoes --'. Only wearing it while going to meet my professors in the hospital---as they dislike casual dress codes.

I forgot to mention that during the summer I only wear flip flops. I also have a pair of New Balance sneakers that I really like. It's hard to find shoes in my size sometimes though!

I have a pair of cross trainers by New Balance for karate and running at the gym.

Varsity work - yay for being a student - anything goes. I have a couple pairs of Nike casual sneakers, not really good for anything sporty, as well as a pair of old Oakley ChopSaws, some Smokes (a style of flip flop), and a few other pairs of flip-flops. There are also some Nike ACG walking shoes in there, and a couple of battered Island Style (local brand, I think) skateresque pairs, looking not unlike those by Osiris or Vans.

Add a pair of smart solid dress shoes, for weddings and/or funerals.

I tend to keep shoes until they're in pieces, though; only one of all the aforementioned pairs has been bought in the last year and the Oakleys were bought way back in 2002.

Well I've a a pair of work boots, with security toe of iron, too uncomfortable for general use.
