What kind of underwear do you guys wear?

So I've been trying to get variety with my underwear styles, and I was wondering what do you guys wear and where do you get them? Brands, style (trunks, boxers, etc).

For me I love the Calvin Klein line of trunks and low rise briefs but they get a little pricy.

I hate boxer-briefs with the passion of a thousand burning suns and will never understand the appeal.

but, er, outside of that...

if all I'm going to be doing is lounging around the house, I'll go commando.
if I'm going out but we're not doing anything particularly strenuous, I'll wear boxers.
if I'm going out and doing any kind of physical activity, I'll wear briefs.

the one thing that trumps all those rules is, if I'm expecting a medical professional to ask me to take my pants off, I'll wear boxers. learned that lesson the hard way after having to sit around in an ice cold doctors office in my briefs and nothing else.

Agreed on the boxer briefs. I think they are entirely too-constricting on the thighs and personally find them very uncomfortable. I am a boxer guy, but would wear regular briefs before I would wear boxer-briefs.

At the same time, I prefer seeing other guys in briefs, as I personally find them the most attractive.

And briefs are about the same as boxer briefs when it comes to tightness. (at least that's how I see it)

If I want to see a guy without a shirt and just his underwear, I'd like to see low rise briefs or trunks (if he has a good body)

I used to do briefs, then switched to trunks. Boxerbriefs are way too long on the thigh for my liking. I use briefs for karate because boxers are too loose and it feels like I put my nuts through a washing machine the next day, and trunks get bent out of shape and lose their elasticity if I train in those.

I have a variety of trunks, usually local stuff as in BadBoy and Soviet; then I found a boatload of cK for dirt cheap on sale at a local department store, and a whole lot more going cheap on the internet. So I have a whole ton now of multicoloured cK 365, Steel and X-elements.

Only one pair is black, one pair is white and I have a single pair in grey because those are dead boring in 2011. The others range from bright single colours (yellow, green, blue, purple, pink, orange) to multicoloured stripes to patterned and printed. Life is waaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too short for dull undies.

For sleeping, at least, wearing before and after bed since I sleep in the nick, I have cotton boxers by Billabong (the surf guys). Occasionally, but very rarely, those get worn as underwear out and about.

Uber stylish boxer briefs and jockstraps, mainly. They are not cheap, and one day I'll have the body to "model" them again. Brands? I love South American things like Pikante and CLEVER, own a couple Rufskin, Pistol Pete, AWARE SOHO, and others. I don't buy gaudy shit like the gay A's(in this case Andrew Christian) and I don't prefer super plain undies UNLESS they're jocks - and even then, I try to buy something that's unique.

Do own a couple of briefs, some starter boxers, and even a thong(ex got me that).

I believe I own the underwear featured on this page. I don't look quite as good in them, alas, but I'm not too shabby. Nor is the underwear.
