  • Hi Guest - Did you know?
Hot Topics is a Safe for Work (SFW) forum.

what kind of wallet do you have?

I change my wallet about once a year. Last year it was a Jack Spade long wallet. Now it's a Porsche Design CL2 2.0 Keycase Z2 that's just the right size for my cards, metro card, license, and a couple of dollars (I usually don’t carry money). I got it at Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport. It cost a pretty penny, but I think it was worth it.

I bought the necklace I wanted to buy from Tiffany's (baptism gift for my niece) and passed on the wallet.

but I'm still thinking about it ;)

Or do you really just want a blue box of your own?

I hope you enjoyed the full Tiffany experience. I think our local Tiffany at King of Prussia Plaza doesn't quite deliver on that. (But they are across the corridor from Tourneau, who I love.)

The best wallet I've ever had. 100 year warranty. Tough as hell.

And the website's description is priceless.

And they threw in a matching key chain which I actually use. ..|

I was going to go with another company's product before I found Saddleback, but their Leather 101 convinced me otherwise: Click Here (Very useful info on leather, even if you buy elsewhere.)

I know a few other guys who have bought wallets and bags from the company and they all give them top props.

Anyway, get whatever you like, but for $45 I am a very happy man with my very manly wallet. Roar. ;)

I don't know HOW you do it...

BUT...

YOU find the COOLEST stuff!!! ..|

NOW -- I want one...

How did you WRANGLE the free key chain???

Just in case I order it...

:):):)

p.s. to the OP -- it looks like a NICE wallet -- kind of expensive, but you only live once....

I have a LV wallet that I've now used for...7 years now I think. It's held up really nicely, but I am now tempted to get the Compact Wallet in Taiga. They come in a variety of colors which are very unique and they are very discreet and don't scream LV. They kind of remind me of that tiffany wallet you posted. The only drawback...? It cost $610. But I'm sure it will last a really long time. :)

I don't keep money in my wallet, just cards... my ID, my medical card, ATM and credit card, Grandmother's medical card and ATM card, and a few of my business cards. I usually use just a cardfold to hold them all. For a couple years, I had a little no-fold card holder from Old Navy... I paid $5.99 for it at the outlet store and just recently got rid of it because the leather was flaking off. I replaced it with a bifold card holder from CVS drugstore for $7.99, buttery soft black leather (made in China, God knows of what) and just the right size.

My favorite wallet of all time was burgundy eelskin that I got for my 18th birthday; I had that for over ten years and it never faded or cracked. I only stopped using it because someone I liked gave me a new one as a gift. I still have it, but I keep it as a souvenir of youth rather than using it.

I can't imagine spending more money on a wallet than I'll ever have in the wallet.

Black tri-fold Perry Ellis that is stuffed with plastic, most of it not mine.

the teenage daughter of a guy at work makes these .... duct tape wallets... i bought one kind of as a novelty, but let me tell you .... it's tough ... and holds all my shit ... when this one dies (if it ever does) .... i'll get another one

I made the mistake of wandering into the Burberry store and got a prohibitively expensive blue leather wallet last week..

I have a WOW wallet:

It looks like it's made from folded paper, but is in in fact made from Tyvek, and is well-nigh indestructible. And it always gets admired whenever I have to pay from something.

I've had this for a couple of years now and can't imagine not having one. It holds my cash/cards and doesn't feel bulky.

I've got a Tyvek one, too. I have the one that looks like it's an old airplane safety pamphlet.

I would love a money clip like that but I have a ton of cards I have to carry around: 5 credit/debit/gas cards, AAA card for my non-existing car atm, Train pass, health card, Driver's License etc.
Not to mention the money in my wallet. I usually have between $20-$40 in the main bill fold but I always keep a c-note tucked in a secret compartment for emergencies.

Mine is just a black leather tri-fold. It's become a little worn down over the years, but I like that. I don't know why, but I don't like it when a (black leather) wallet looks 'brand new'.
