Besides English, what other languages can you speak, read and write in?

Besides English, I'm fluent in Spanish.

I want to try French. Is RosettaStone as good as they say it is?

I'm using the top 10 most spoken languages as choices.

I speak fluent English unsurprisingly. I did do a lot of German in school, I'd like to pick that up at some stage in the future.

Hmm

I can write and read various Chinese such as Cantonese / Taiwan Hakka and Mainland China Chinese.

I can read and listen to some Japanese (watch to much anime and play a lot of video games growing up).

Even though I watch a lot of Korean Drama I just know how to read and write my name in Korean.

Only know a lil bit of Russian from my Russian freind. Wish I could learn Spanish & Icelandic language.

Yes. It's even better than the ads - disc worth its weight in gold. If you call their 800 number, request a free program disk. Also, you might be able to buy time on the internet! No memorization required. No vocabulary. (How do they do it?)

"No more grammar no more books. No more teachers' dirty looks." (a little something from my childhood)

Spanish is my first language.

I can speak English but I'm not very fluent.

I know some French, Italian and Portuguese and I understand them when I read but I can't speak them.

besides english, i know ebonics and i also know a bit of retard from special ed.

I'm fluent in English (others disagree) and Welsh

Some German, but not fluent.

Besides English, I can read and coverse OK in Spanish, then some Norwegian, Finish and Chippewa. BTW, I learned Spanish in high school but mostly from Rosetta Stone. It is truely an amazing program.

English is the only one I'm completely fluent in. I can fumble through French, Russian, and American Sign Language to varying degrees of looking-idiotic. :)

I heard of that rosetta stone programme... I think Ill give it a try after reading so many praise...
I love languages, wish I could speak all languages in the world !

....Is RosettaStone as good as they say it is?...

I've just been reading the Wiki article about the Egyptian rock from 196 BC which unlocked the Egyptian language in 1802. It's now in the British Museum but the people of Egypt want it back.

It's just like the people of ancient Australia; they think they had about 70 languages but none of them were recorded properly so now they're mostly lost. :(

SloppySeconds.

I'm still learning that one :D the most difficult until now, I should add.

My main language is Portuguese (European), and have a decent English and French, a reasonable Spanish and Italian, but I really don't like to speak both of them because of the accent, it makes me feel awkward, a mediocre Arab (learned it many years ago, but I can barely build a sentence now) and I am beginner in German...

Me, english and a tiny bit of spanish..

my honey speaks english and spanish fluently and can switch between them w/o a accent at all.

English and French (not Canadian incorrect "french" aka Quebecois).
