Life is a bald-headed stank bitch named Phyllis and oftentimes it can be an extremely negative experience. As we’ve seen from this year alone, true moments of happiness are few and far between and thus worthy of [STRIKE]making a new thread[/STRIKE] recognition.

So what is something recently that made you happy or brought you a bit of joy? :)

Generally it's rimming, giving and receiving.

But since that's out with the Covid, i'd say watching Jonathan Winters on YouTude an old American comedian, new to me.

Cats and Dogs and a lot of other animals and birds. They fill me with happiness.

Solitude, silence, rain, cold.

Sauteed cabbage

Pickled cabbage

Stuffed cabbages

Cabbage soup

Taco's with cabbage

Cabbage salad

Alone Time
Doing what I love (Listening to music, reading, traveling, etc.)
The good relationships with my family and close friends.

Nothing lately. I'm always a foot and a half from where I want to be.

This sounds corny but going to watch the kid cheer at her school football game. I have a hard time describing how it feels to me.

I'll keep my own responses in this thread PG but I definitely concur. Good times, fun stuff. ..|

That's peak happiness for me too. If Seattle wasn't so astronomically expensive, I would have moved there lifetimes ago.

I love being alone. Don't get me wrong, I enjoy spending time with my friends and fam but I really do cherish the moments where I'm at home with nowhere planned to go and left alone to my own thoughts.

Listening to great music always brings me happiness. :D

What makes you happy Ms Hoe?

What makes me happy overall? Um, not having to worry all the time makes me happy.

Usually around this time of year, i'm super stressed out and sad due to a variety of factors. But this year, I dunno it could be the clairvoyance of COVID and quarantine, I just feel at peace about everything. Life is still a constant struggle but overall, this has been the happiest I've felt in years. My family, friends and loved ones are all safe. Focusing on who and what's actually important in my life makes me happy. :-)

What's something that's brought me happiness today? Scented candles, prosecco and weed. 8-)

Proud, loving, happy? and more?
That's not corny at all.

I am happy when I help my paraplegic brother who lives with me.
I am happy when I see my students succeed and see them helping their patients.
I am happy playing with my best friend's young Whippets - they go crazy when I come over and we have a great time playing.
I am happy sitting quietly and enjoying contemplation.
I am happy when i visit or phone or text with my great friends.
I am happy that i am rarely unhappy

I love Jonathan Winters; everything he did was great but I particularly love to re-watch his Dean Martin Show appearances and his roast of Frank Sinatra.

That plus the camaraderie with the fellow parents of the cheerleaders and players. I also get emotional during the singing of the National anthem. it's patriotic, good, old fashion American friday nights. It's something I missed out on as a kid myself.
