What Message Does the Trump Flag Represent?

I am curious to better understand the intended or perceived message(s) communicated by the presentation or display of the so called, “Trump Flag.” I realize there are different versions of the flag, but am referring to the most common variety that features the name with a slogan, such as “Make America Great Again.”

Good question.

What it means is truly in the hands of the holder.

Sometimes the meaning is very clear.

In other cases, where it is being waved about, it could mean that the bearer is in agreement with some or all of Trump's policies like the wall, forced separation of families, tax cuts for billionaires, demolition of the liberal courts, hurtful lgbtq policies, tearing down Roe v. Wade....or even just his overt racism and xenophobia.

Obviously, the first time around it was carried and flown by people who didn't think America was all that great...and in 2020, it was flown by people who thought that the deaths and economic costs of a badly handled pandemic and the loss of America's standing around the world were substantial enough achievments that justified keeping their America Great...After all, a quarter of all judges and 3 SC justices is nothing to sneeze at.

I would like to think that the majority of people waving it around aren't just using it to signal malignance....that they see it as no more or less than a campaign pennant......or the equivalent of a team flag....but I think that it is more nuanced than that depending on the context.

Hopefully his accolytes will be able to now carefully fold them in acid free tissue and store them with other precious family heirlooms to be brought out maybe a century from now as an object of bemusement by their descendants.

Keeping America Great tells me that the person is co-signing who trump is and what he has done. It gives me clarity about the person who is carrying it.

The list is endless from "grab 'em by the pussy" to children in cages to "very fine people" and ultimately the 24/7 deception and horrible leadership and lies and hundreds of thousands now dead because he is a liar and a conman - birds of feather

It's not the American flag.

I'm honestly more excited about the coming implosion of Trump Plaza in Atlantic City. It's been postponed from Jan. 29. I'm not sure of the new date.
