What nickname did Lefty christen you with on JUB? and why??? :)

Lefty's imaginative way with words and brashness really rubbed off on the folks he liked, as we saw in his tribute thread here. Many of us got a nickname he'd use and it would be fun if we could share what he gave and why. Hail to our Lefty, gone but not forgot.

Well, a while back, he called me the 'stir-worrier' which seemed rather apt - I was a mod at the time. It kinda irked me after a day of dealing with trouble at' mill. But in hindsight, its hilarious and very apt.

He called me Lord York and the Squire of the Shire. York for the obvious reason, the rest the result of an over-active imagination!

I think he refer me as Glas for the obvious reason. I couldn't track back to make sure.

He suggested a few names for EJ, but the one that stuck was eJoan, as in electronic Joan (hence the lowercase "e" when I use eJ). I also like Esther Joan, and I've started using that elsewhere in his memory. I've been using eJoan, eJoanie, and Joan for a while. (EJ actually refers to Eliot and Jamie, boyfriends of my fictional character Michael.)

The other one, I only use here - Paddles (or Mistress Paddles). It's the counterpart to Puddles (Redfox70), my "identical twin cousin", according to Lefty, as well as an obvious reference to my BDSM interests. So, my latest avi has a paddle, which I wouldn't have used if Lefty hadn't called me that. I had a small problem with the name because "Puddles" was an old nickname of mine, but Lefty sometimes got mixed up and called me that.

I suppose I should apologize to a few people for implying "Joan" is my real name. I rarely use my real name online, even in private mail, and "Joan" seems very real to me, especialy as it makes me think of a special friend.

I guess he liked me. He really liked me.

He called me Zolly once, which seems to rhyme with jolly, which I'm not, which is funny.

I'm afraid we didn't banter much, but I could always tell he was an alright chap. It's nice to read these threads and see the affection people had for him.

Mostly Lefty just called me Billy. But there are times he would call me Sinkhole Billy or Gator Guy. Both because I live in Florida and a Florida Gators fan.
