On what night do you have to put your trash out on the curb for the city to pick it up?


Mine is Tuesday night.
 
Tuesday night. The burros love it. Spread trash all over as they look for goodies to eat.

Don't have a clue. I don't really keep track of the days. The week just blends together for me. I very rarely see the truck but they must be coming because there isn't a build up of waste.
 
I live in a highrise in downtown Portland, so anyday when the garbage is full is trash morning, afternoon, or night. when it gets picked up, is beyond me lol!!!

i recycle way more than use the trash can.
 
Monday - regular trash
Wednesday - green waste (yard waste and such)
Thursday - recycle, regular and heavy waste
 
After thirty years of Tuesday being garbage night (for Wednesday AM pickup), the damned Oakland Scavenger Company has switched me to Sunday. It's a more convenient night, really; but I hate having things like that changed and am therefore mad as a wet hen.
 
Garbage or trash? There's a difference.
Garbage is the old onion skins and food packaging and paper, the daily crap of life.
Trash is larger items, furniture and such, that people might scavenge.
 
It varies from week to week based on public holidays. The city sends us a calendar.
 
I live outside the city limits. So I have to put mine in car and drive it to a collection center.

So, I usually go on Saturday.
 
Both our trash and recycling are put out Monday evening. The trash pickup usually comes around between 8 and 9 PM on Monday night. The blue box and green waste pickup comes around Tuesday morning between 8 and 9 AM. I recycle a lot but, since I have my own compost bin, I rarely put out green waste except for wood.
 
Out Tuesday Night for Wednesday AM pickup.

The Lesbian Recycle Woman comes around every other week for Recyclables.

Everything is delayed one day if there's a Holiday.

We're supposed to be getting a Compostable bin too, to be picked up bi weekly, but I haven't seen any delivered yet.
 
they pick up here around the time my brother goes to school on monday morning. i usually have to help him take the trash to the curb
 
Every morning the trash guy comes and picks all away.
