In my age preference men [18-40] i'd say 1 outta 200 'straight' guys and even less of guys who identify themselves as gay and want a relationship with another man. It just creeps me out i dunno how to explain it.

whereas with girls i'd say its about 50% actually really turn me on ...its kinda pathetic lol.

How about you guys and what do you think this could mean?

That you have issues.

you say you're attracted to 50% of women which means you like a very broad range of types of women. You don't say there's any stipulations on them like "they have to be straight" or "they can't be interested in me romantically" or "they have to like Beethoven."

With men, there's that "they have to be straight and they can't be interested in anything but sex and they can't...." and even then you're only attracted to .5% of them.

It speaks more about your own weaknesses and fears and issues than it does if the guy is attractive or not.
 
I would say for every one hundred guys I may see at a time, there will be one that I find attractive.
 
depends on the crowd... i'll find more dudes hot at a hockey game or a concert than i would at a shopping mall.

can't really answer it with any accuracy.
 
Jasun, you think Bicuriousaussie's thing is messed up, try this:

my attraction rate is seasonal as well as mood-related.

Call my attraction rate to gals FM (Female Magnetism). Call my attraction rate to guys AM (Attraction, Male). Obviously from my avatar info I run on both AM and FM. :D

Now, in the summer, both AM and FM increase, but FM does so resoundingly faster. In the winter, the reverse is true.

When I'm feeling exuberant and boisterous, both increase, fairly evenly. When my mood goes the other way, FM decreases and AM increases.

In the middle of February, when the weather drives my mood down, I can walk through the city and out of a thousand gals find one or two attractive, while I'm finding that many out of a score of guys.
Same city, same street, middle of August, it's like one or two gals out of a hundred and one or two guys out of a dozen.

But I find another twist: with guys, there's a progression of attraction, from jaw-dropping, heart-stopping, OMG he's beautiful down to yeah, if he asked me out, I'd probably go; but with gals, it's more like a quantum three-step -- hell no!, to, I'd hang with her, to nerve-tingling, breath-grabbing, mind-stopping "if she asked, I'd do her right here!".

I totally agree. Ya never know with me. There's half a dozen in one class, and 2 in another. One that really gets me goin in one class...oh sorry went off on a tangent there.

But really it just depends where I am and what kinda mood. And how horny....

Well determine what it depends on, plug in those variables, and give us a percentage damn it! :-)

I'm going w/ 75%. "Attracted" is a pretty broad term. I can usually find something I"m attracted to w/in most everyone. Actually 75% is probably a bit high, I'm not into Republicans and there's obviously a large number of them running around. But then again, some of those are women...hmmm, okay I'm going w/ 60%. Yeah, I'm attracted to 60% of the men I happen to be around.
 
I can appreciate the hotness in most men when I see them. How many will I remember? Umm. A third. How many will I still think about having seen a year later. One or two. Plus a few classics I have thought about since high school.

What happens in between? I dunno. Sometimes it is just something I notice in the moment when meeting someone. Sometimes they speak.
 
i usually find something "attractve' if not sexy about most men... (unless they have manscaped eyebrows - bleh !! Prolly about 80% i could find something hot about - If they're 30-45 have visible body hair (arms/legs) they automatically get extra points..
anyway...... eye candy is eye candy.

I see a cute guy like weekly, if not more often.

I almost hit on one of my coworkers today. We weren't alone and it's his first day, so I might try tomorrow. He's very friendly & cute, so I just need to get him alone and wait for him to ask me "So what do you want to do?" or something and slowly move my hand up his back onto his shoulders or around his waist or so and we'll see what he does/says in response, lol
 
With the age bracket I'm into (my age to early 40's), I'd say about 30 to 40 percent. But that's seeing them clothed.

A lot of people I know would probably say I'm attracted to every guy, but everyone has a tendency in believing that ugly people are just part of the wallpaper.
