Green Party

I was raised to be a Republican....but the old kind of California Republican that believed that the government should stay out of the lives of individuals.

I originally was a Republican....then changed to an Independent when when Ross Perot initially stressed that he was a self made successful business owner that could run the government like a business, then he spoke, sounded nuts, and I immediately changed to the Green Party and have been there ever since. But I primarily vote for democrats. I have never voted for a green party presidential candidate.

I tend to vote Republican nationally but Democratic locally.

Not sure how this fits in to your poll though.
I've voted for our House seat for the Democrat in the past 3 elections.... local house and Senate I most likely vote for the Dem, but not always.

Haven't voted for a Dem for President since George McGovern. But I didn't vote for Ronald Reagan in his first run either. I voted for the other Republican.... He was running as an Independent.
Bascially I support the 'old' Republican way of thinkng.... lower taxes, limited government, strong foreign policy, strong on limiting illegal immigration, ..... but in recent years that has not been the way of that party.

In the state that I live in the Republicans are so very far right it makes me sick.
They are just so far off base that I vote Dem in local elections.

I am liberal, so I usually vote Democrat. I'm not registered, though.

Registered Democrat am I.............

When I turned eighteen, I registered as a libertarian. Generally I believe in libertarian ideals, although I do believe in state-funded schools and a welfare system that encourages people to look for work rather than sucking on the gubmint teat for years on end.

The Libertarian Party, however, is far too disorganized for my tastes. I actually tried to register as Green, but my county doesn't recognize the party, so it defaulted to independent, which is where I am now.

I tend to vote democratic, as I'm more interested in civil liberties than I am in economic liberalism, but I have been known to vote Republican for offices like state treasurer and the like.

I don't vote, and don't believe anyone's vote is actually counted, despite what people want to believe.

I am president of me. I would never declare anyone else "my president" besides myself. People give up their power to easily to people that they don't really know.

Shutup and sit down. You don't vote, you're not aloud to talk. (j/k) ;)

But seriously, you have no power to enact laws.
